Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

AKSHYATT (Odisha (all) - India)

My Beloved Gurudeva: Śrī Jayapatākā Swāmī Mahārāja

Valleys deep where shadows play,
A beacon shines, it lights the way.
Dear Guru Mahārāja, on this blessed day,
With reverence, I offer my heartfelt pray.

Seventy-six cycles of time have spun,
A journey so bright, beneath the sun.
With each passing year, your grace does flow,
Transforming the lost with love’s gentle glow.

In your devotion lies power through and through,
You stand as a pillar in ISKCON’s embrace.
Without your guidance, there’d be no place
For Prabhupāda’s dream to flourish anew.

O ocean of mercy! O candle’s bright flame!
Countless souls freed from sorrow and shame.
From ignorance dark to enlightenment bright,
You lead us from silence into pure light.

Your selfless compassion knows no bounds,
In every heart your sweet love resounds.
Faithful disciples across every land
Spread Kṛṣṇa’s words with a steady hand.

Like Caitanya Mahāprabhu, you bestow grace,
In every moment we seek your embrace.
The TOVP stands tall as a testament true—
Your unwavering bhakti in all that we do.

Oh divine spirit! We yearn for your touch,
In humility’s lap, we mean ever so much.
Forgive my clumsiness in words that I weave,
For only with courage can I dare to believe.

Let me bear witness to Kṛṣṇa’s sweet name,
Through trials and penance, let me never be lame.
On this sacred day, as celebrations ignite,
In joy and gratitude, our hearts take flight.

Sparks of devotion like stars shining bright,
Illuminate paths with spiritual light.
So here is my homage within this sweet rhyme
To you who is timeless and transcends all time.

Bless us with strength to carry your tune,
And fill our spirits like the warmth of moon.
In the realm of devotion, let our spirits soar high,
Embracing your teachings beneath a vast sky.

Forever endeavouring, we’ll echo your call—
Śrī Jayapatākā Swāmī Mahārāja, we honour you all!

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to you on this auspicious day of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā.

Though I have never seen you physically, nor have I visited Śrīdhāma Māyāpur, I feel your presence through your words, your service, and your mercy. I have no qualification to write about you, but only due to your unconditional mercy am I attempting to offer this humble homage.

Please forgive this servant for any errors or mistakes.

Hare Kṛṣṇa.

The servant of your servants,
Akṣyatt Mohapatra
