Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories unto you! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Words cannot express the happiness of being a part of the Hare Kṛṣṇa movement. But there would be no movement if it were not for staunch, faithful devotees like yourself, who not only diagnose the spiritual disease—avidyā—but also provide the bona fide cure: devotional service, coming down through our disciplic succession all the way from Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself!
And today is a special day to express our gratitude. By the mercy of the spiritual master, we are engaged in so many blissful activities—Kṛṣṇa-kathā, harināma-saṅkīrtana, worshiping the Deities, making offerings, distributing prasāda and transcendental literature, and assisting you, dear Gurudeva, in various ways to fulfill the instructions that Śrīla Prabhupāda entrusted to you.
Just as a father hands over the keys to his grown-up sons before departing, Śrīla Prabhupāda left behind many instructions for carrying on this movement. Each instruction is like a key to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s heart, and like a good son, you have been following them with great enthusiasm and success. How dear you must be to His Divine Grace!
One example is that even now, as I write this, so many fortunate souls are witnessing the installation of the lotus footprints of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu at the sacred places visited by His holy feet. All glories to your service!
Your association is most important for us householders, prodding us to give up our miserly existence and igniting within us the desire to become more useful. Please continue to bless us in this way.
Your hopeful servant,
Nārada-priyā Devī Dāsī
