My Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances at the dust of the lotus feet of Your Divine Grace.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to Guru and Gaurāṅga!
Guru Mahārāja, I am very grateful for the countless blessings of Gurudeva, which enable me to practice devotional service nicely. I am deeply thankful to Gurudeva for my ability to chant the holy name, worship the Deities, and assist in preaching efforts. I am especially grateful for the many enlightening classes of Gurudeva, which are nourishing my devotional life. I cherish the daily updates, Zoom visits, and Saturday Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam classes, which are deepening my connection to the lotus feet of Your Divine Grace.
The past year has been challenging for me personally, as my brother suffered falls and had to undergo multiple surgeries, and my mother had knee replacement surgery. But despite all these difficulties, Gurudeva’s mercy has kept me steady in my devotional service, strengthening my faith in Gurudeva and Kṛṣṇa. I am grateful that, despite my many shortcomings, Gurudeva continues to hold me at the shelter of Your Divine Grace’s lotus feet.
On this glorious occasion of Gurudeva’s Vyāsa-pūjā, my ardent prayers to Śrīla Prabhupāda, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava, Pañca-tattva, Śrī Śrī Jagannātha, Baladeva, Subhadrā Mahāyī, and Lord Narasiṁhadeva—may Their Lordships be merciful and keep Gurudeva healthy and present among us for a very long time for the benefit of the world and all living beings.
Please accept my respectful obeisances at the dust of Your Divine Grace’s lotus feet.
Your humble servant,
Mahīpāla Govinda Dāsa
Dīkṣā disciple
