Hare Kṛṣṇa!
Daṇḍavat praṇāma, Guru Mahārāja.
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
Dear Guru Mahārāja,
You have truly exemplified the meaning of a spiritual master—one who dispels darkness and destroys ignorance. I did not know you earlier, but ever since I have heard and read about you, I have come to understand the importance of a guru and why a guru is necessary in one's spiritual life.
You always shower your grace and compassion upon everyone without discrimination, whether in a jail, hospital, college, or even another country. The 'Food for Life' initiative started by you continues to serve humanity to this day.
You have always followed the orders of your Guru, whether it be the construction of Śrīdhāma Māyāpur, distributing books, or making disciples. I deeply admire your precious teaching—"Always expect the unexpected." By practicing this in my life, I learn to embrace Kṛṣṇa's will with faith.
Guru Mahārāja, you have followed the teachings of Lord Nityānanda, whose compassion reaches even the weakest of souls. Śrīla Prabhupāda glorified you as "the Victory Flag of Kṛṣṇa," and you have proven that illness is not a hindrance in devotion. Nothing can stop you, as you are unstoppable in your true devotion.
Please bless me so that I may give up all my bad habits and keep the promises I made to you throughout my life.
Your servant,
Somya Rāwal
