Our Dearest Guru Mahārāja,
Daṇḍavat praṇāms!
Please accept our most humble and respectful obeisances at Your divine lotus feet, dear Guru Mahārāja.
All glories to You! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to all our Paramparā Ācāryas!
Hare Kṛṣṇa!
On this most auspicious occasion of Your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, we humbly submit this offering at Your lotus feet.
This year marks ten years since our harināma initiation—ten years since You accepted us as Your children and gave us the shelter of Your lotus feet. Whether we were qualified or not to receive the downpour of Your mercy, we do not know. But by Your boundless and causeless compassion, You overlooked our many shortcomings, extended Your hand, and pulled us out of the material ocean in which, unbeknownst to us, we were drowning.
A decade is but a fleeting moment in the journey of the eternal soul—just a flash of lightning against the vast sky of eternity. Yet in these ten years, Your love, kindness, and mercy have engulfed us in ways we could never have imagined. Not a single day has passed without us expressing gratitude to the Lord for allowing us the great fortune of being part of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s family, practicing Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and being connected to our glorious paramparā—most importantly, as Your disciples. Equally, not a day goes by when we do not regret not having surrendered at Your lotus feet much earlier in this lifetime.
Guru Mahārāja, we long to make up for lost time. We yearn to serve You in every way possible, to compensate for the many opportunities we let slip away in pursuit of material desires and distractions. We aspire to assist You more diligently in fulfilling the sacred instructions left by Śrīla Prabhupāda.
By Your mercy, over the last twelve months, we started a new Bhakti Steps program at our local temple, began two online Mañjarī sessions to connect new souls with Mahāprabhu’s movement, and started reading Caitanya-caritāmṛta with a group of devotees. Despite Your demanding schedule, You remain a beacon of inspiration, encouraging us in the systematic study of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. Through Your blessings, we have been able to advance in our studies—completing Bhakti-vaibhava (first module) and enrolling in the second—and even had the opportunity to facilitate a Bhakti-śāstrī module in our congregation.
All of this has been possible only by Your empowerment, by Your mercy—
mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ
paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
Guru Mahārāja, it amazes us to witness Your farsightedness and vision in integrating technology for the benefit of our spiritual lives—something that is otherwise a distraction in the modern world. Innovations such as the Transcend App, Bhakti Steps App, and JPS Care App are just a few examples of how Your ideas have empowered thousands of devotees worldwide to strengthen their sādhana and deepen their connection with Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Guru Mahārāja, there is still so much more we wish to do to serve You. Please continue to shower Your boundless mercy and blessings upon us. Please continue to pray for us, as You always have—to Kṛṣṇa, to Mahāprabhu, and to Śrīla Prabhupāda—for our spiritual well-being and progress. Your prayers are our only hope, our only lifeline in this material world, helping us to cultivate sincerity and regularity in our sādhana.
On this sacred occasion, we pray for Your good health and well-being, so that You may continue to guide and inspire us for many, many years to come.
Dearest Guru Mahārāja, today we renew our commitment—our solemn vow made ten years ago—to surrender more deeply at Your lotus feet, to serve Your mission with greater dedication, and to refine our sādhana with sincerity and diligence.
We offer our humble prayers at the lotus feet of Their Lordships Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava, Śrī Śrī Jagannātha Baladeva Subhadrā Mahārāṇī, Śrī Śrī Pañca-tattva, Lord Narasiṁhadeva, and Śrīla Prabhupāda for Your continued well-being and protection.
Wishing You a blissful and joyous Vyāsa-pūjā, dear Guru Mahārāja!
With all our love and gratitude,
Your unworthy children,
Raṅgamayā Rāmakṛṣṇa dāsa & Śobhamayī Keśavī devī dāsī
