Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Many, many congratulations to you on your Vyāsa-pūjā Day!
All glories to this divine day!
All glories to you!
O Gurudeva, your lotus feet are the abode of pure devotional service. You are such a glorious disciple of our glorious spiritual master, Śrīla Prabhupāda. Words can never be sufficient to describe your unlimited glories.
How wonderfully you are fulfilling the instructions of Śrīla Prabhupāda is truly inspiring for each of your disciples. There are so many direct services given to you by Śrīla Prabhupāda—such as building the Śrī Māyāpur Temple, developing the Navadvīpa-maṇḍala Parikramā, ācārya’s śrīpāṭa, the TOVP Project—your life and soul, and distributing Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books.
The way you are dedicated and surrendered to fulfill Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission always encourages me to develop a mood of service to Guru and Gaurāṅga. Without considering the ups and downs in your health, you continue to give Caitanya-caritāmṛta classes every evening, appear on Zoom to give darśana, attend regular meetings, give Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam classes, and so much more.
In spite of your many health issues, for you, preaching always comes first. Your tireless service and countless efforts in the mission of Lord Caitanya are indescribable. You are living by the principles of nāma-ruci, jīve-dayā, and vaiṣṇava-sevā.
Being a disciple of such a glorious spiritual father is truly a causeless blessing upon me.
Śrīla Guru Mahārāja, I am connected with Kṛṣṇa Bandhus and the local ISKCON temple as well. By your mercy, I have received some services like managing an online sādhana group, cultivating devotees in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, calling out sevās before each class, etc. I attend the temple on Fridays and Sundays. I desire to please you through these services by doing them with sincerity and devotion.
Oh dearest Śrīla Guru Mahārāja, you know me inside and out. Your reciprocations are extremely personal and close to my heart. I once had a dream the day before my shelter ceremony in which I saw my material family members leaving their bodies. At that moment, the only person I felt was with me—was you, Śrīla Guru Mahārāja, my eternal father.
That dream gave me the deep realization that I have no other shelter but you. Your lotus feet are like a boat; by taking shelter of them, I can cross over the ocean of material existence. Please accept me at the dust of your lotus feet.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā Day, I sincerely pray to:
-
Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava and the Aṣṭa-sakhīs
-
Pañca-tattva
-
Śrī Śrī Prahlāda-Nṛsiṁha Bhagavān
-
and Śrīla Prabhupāda
…for your good health, speedy recovery, and long life.
I also pray to Lord Caitanya and Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu that you may keep serving Śrīla Prabhupāda without any bodily or other restrictions.
Thank you so much for everything. Through this Vyāsa-pūjā offering, I offer myself to you.
Please accept me.
I beg at your lotus feet for your causeless mercy.
Please bless me with your choicest blessings.
Your grateful servant,
Ridhi
