Guru Mahārāja — The Epitome of Humility and Selfless Service

Guru Mahārāja, you could easily live in luxurious accommodations, yet you choose to stay in the simplest rooms. You could accept special privileges, yet you stand in line for prasādam just like everyone else. Even when your health condition requires special care, you never allow yourself to receive more than what any other devotee receives.

One of the most powerful examples of your humility is seen in Śrī Māyāpur dhāma, where you personally oversee the cooking and serving of prasādam. As one of ISKCON’s topmost leaders, my Guru Mahārāja always takes time to ensure that devotees are properly fed, sometimes even serving them with your own hands.

During Navadvīpa-maṇḍala Parikramā, even though your body may not move as it once did, still, you make every effort to be present—inspiring devotees simply by your presence, your words, and your loving smile.

Your humility is not just seen—it is felt. It moves hearts and teaches more than a thousand lectures ever could.

Thank you, Guru Mahārāja, for showing us what it truly means to serve.
