Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Pritika Joshi (Kolkata - India)

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate jayapatākā svāmin iti nāmine

Hare Kṛṣṇa Guru Mahārāja, daṇḍavat-praṇāma!
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.

All glories to your auspicious appearance day!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

Guru Mahārāja, as I sit down to write this Vyāsa-pūjā offering for the pleasure of Your Holiness, I am overwhelmed by your countless reciprocations, mercy, and blessings. Whenever I have found myself stuck in life, it has always been you who guided me. No matter how many times I became distracted, you never left my hand.

I do not feel qualified in any way to glorify you, but I am overwhelmed by the fact that I have received your mercy. I do not have the words to glorify you properly. Dear Mahārāja, your unwavering dedication to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda is an inspiration for all of us. You are the victory flag of ISKCON. You are tirelessly working not just for your disciples but for every living entity—giving classes daily with such dedication, engaging in book distribution, guiding and handling all of us, launching Pañca-tattva challenges, Bhīṣma-pañcaka challenges, and so many other initiatives. Without caring about your own health, you are serving Śrīla Prabhupāda through every word and every action.

Guru Mahārāja, by your mercy I am under the guidance of Her Grace Baladāyanī Mātājī, His Grace Sundara Vāmana Prabhu, and Her Grace Ratnāvalī Mātājī. I have been blessed to serve Bhakti Kids by making certificates, transcribing lectures, collecting donations, and making PowerPoint presentations. I am also serving with Kṛṣṇa Bandhus, trying to assist and uplift devotees in their spiritual lives.

I truly desire to do more services, but above all, I beg for your blessings and mercy to gain the intelligence to serve properly. I especially want to increase my efforts in book distribution and more sevā. Only by your mercy can I gain the ability and opportunity to serve. I feel so fortunate and grateful that you are my Guru Mahārāja—my spiritual guide and shelter.

Although I always attend your classes online, I deeply desire to have your darśana in person. Please bless me with this opportunity.

I pray to Śrī Prahlāda-Nṛsiṁha Deva and Śrī Pañca-tattva to bless you with a long life—another hundred years!—in good health, so you may continue serving Śrīla Prabhupāda, and we may continue to serve you.

Guru Mahārāja, I am begging for your causeless mercy, so that I may serve you more and more. You have many children, but I have only you as my spiritual father. Please, please shower your mercy upon me, that I may develop love for you, serve you wholeheartedly, and become a preacher of the holy name.

I have nothing of value to offer you, but please accept me as your spiritual daughter.

Your insignificant servant,
Pritika Joshi (sheltered)
