Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Rasamayī Śyāma Devī Dāsī (Kanhaiyā Deśa - Middle East)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, beloved Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet.
All glories to Jagad-guru Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you on this most auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā!

I am such a fallen and conditioned soul that I am far too insignificant to sing your glories. Thank you, Gurudeva, for accepting this fallen soul. I am truly fortunate, for by your causeless mercy I have received the greatest blessing of my life—understanding that you are my eternal master, birth after birth.

I offer my sincere gratitude to you, Guru Mahārāja, for everything you have done for us. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to my husband and father, Giridhārī Gopālakṛṣṇa dāsa, my uncle Vīrakṛṣṇa dāsa, and all the devotees of Kānāiyādeśa for their guidance and for bringing me to your lotus feet.

I was like a crow drawn to the pleasures of Kali-yuga before I found your mercy, Gurudeva. But today, I feel like a dancing peacock, yearning for your blessings to shower me with wisdom and devotion.

When I first saw you in Balarāma Deśa in 2005, with my father and your disciple, HG Giridhārī Gopālakṛṣṇa dāsa, I was too small to comprehend your glories. Yet I can still remember, relish, and feel the warmth of the affectionate glance you gave this fallen soul at that time.

By your mercy, Guru Mahārāja, I had the great fortune to receive my certificate from His Holiness Bhakti Nṛsiṁha Svāmī Mahārāja on 10/05/2024 upon completing the Bhakti-śāstrī course. The image of this event is attached. This is entirely due to your blessings and grace.

"Service to a bona fide spiritual master is the path to this beautiful process of Kṛṣṇa-bhakti," as emphasized by Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. I am aware that my greatest achievement in life will be to please you in even the smallest way.

Gurumahārāja, every Thursday I conduct children’s classes from Qatar and Abu Dhabi, with around 28 kids participating. By the mercy of the devotees of Kānāiyādeśa, I also serve by teaching in the Prahlāda Gurukula here. Additionally, with your blessings, I was able to distribute 152 Bhagavad-gītās this year. Still, I know these services fall short of your expectations. Please bless me with the strength to fulfill your instructions and expectations in Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s mission.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, I humbly beg your blessings so I may remember what I prepare for these children’s classes. Due to some health concerns, memory loss has become a significant issue. Please empower me to serve better.

Please also bless my family and the entire Kānāiyādeśa congregation, that we may all assist in your mission to spread the glories of Śrī Gaurāṅga.

I am praying to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava and Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva for your continued good health, so that you may go on inspiring countless unqualified souls like myself.

Your insignificant servant,
Rāsamayī Śyāmā-devī dāsī
(Dīkṣā disciple)
