Hare Kṛṣṇa

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to His Holiness Śrīla Jayapatākā Svāmī Mahārāja.

My dear spiritual master,

I am not qualified to glorify you. A fallen soul like me has neither the words nor the ability to properly praise you. Yet, by your mercy, by Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mercy, and by Kṛṣṇa’s grace, I have been given this opportunity to offer some words in your honor.

In this vast darkness, where the soul is lost in the endless cycle of birth and death, Guru Mahārāja, you shine like a divine torchbearer, guiding even the most fallen back to the shelter of Kṛṣṇa. You do not reject us for our weaknesses; instead, you uplift us with your boundless compassion.

Guru Mahārāja! I am a soul lost in the darkness of material illusion, wandering from birth to birth, having forgotten my true purpose. Yet, in your infinite mercy, you have extended your hand to fallen souls like me—not with judgment, but with unconditional kindness. Your mere glance has the power to ignite faith in hearts that have long forgotten Kṛṣṇa.

Despite my ignorance, despite my laziness, despite my failures, you continue to shower your mercy upon me. I have done nothing to deserve your kindness, yet you have given me everything—hope, purpose, and the opportunity to serve. Without your compassion, how could a soul as fallen as I ever dream of coming closer to Kṛṣṇa?

At last, Guru Mahārāja, I beg for your mercy—please bless me with the opportunity to serve you.

Your humble servant,
Amiya Kṛṣṇa Dāsa
