Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Rāsa-parāyaṇa Gopāla Dāsa ( - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to Śrīla Guru Mahārāja.

On the most auspicious occasion of the 76th Vyāsa-pūjā of our Gurudeva, His Holiness Jayapatākā Swāmī Gurudeva—Vyāsa-pūjā means glorification, the glorification of our spiritual master. Although I, the most fallen soul, am not capable of properly glorifying Gurudeva, your qualities and glories are infinite.

Gurudeva is already glorified. Guru Mahārāja does not need any glorification. We glorify Guru Mahārāja to make our lives auspicious. Your dedication to serve, to follow, and to fulfill the instructions given by Śrīla Prabhupāda is an example for every disciple on how to serve his or her spiritual master. Guru Mahārāja is Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s eternal associate—always glorifying Caitanya Mahāprabhu, always preaching Mahāprabhu’s mission.

I am forever indebted to H.G. Amriteśa Kṛṣṇa prabhuji, my śikṣā-guru, for giving me shelter at your lotus feet, Gurudeva. Without Prabhuji’s mercy, it would have been impossible for me to get shelter at your lotus feet, Gurudeva.

Although Guru Mahārāja is undergoing a health crisis, still his dedication to preach keeps increasing, which is not possible for an ordinary human. Guru Mahārāja is actually superhuman.

Jayapatākā means “victory flag.” Guru Mahārāja has waved his victory flag all over the world—having over 60,000 disciples globally and preaching Mahāprabhu’s mission tirelessly.

Your contributions toward building the TOVP, developing Māyāpur from scratch, helping the people of Māyāpur during the devastating floods long ago, and countless other services—all of these show how much Guru Mahārāja has done for the satisfaction of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Gurudeva, I am the most fallen soul, begging for your mercy, as I need it the most.
I will try my best to serve your lotus feet in the best possible way I can.

Your insignificant servant,
Rāsaparāyaṇa Gopāla dāsa
