Hare Kṛṣṇa, Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Let me offer my heartfelt gratitude to you for accepting me as a sheltered disciple. Although I am unqualified and not so sincere, still, by your mercy, I find that you are constantly making arrangements to keep me on the path of bhakti.
Guru Mahārāja, you are a true example of how a devotee of Kṛṣṇa can be so compassionate—
Ready to forgive and inspire to go on with Bhakti even after so many drawbacks.
Otherwise, what would be the fate of a poor and idiot soul like me?
Your life is the perfect example of unwavering dedication to one’s guru, and of serving his instructions against all odds and challenges. Still, a silly soul like me gets disturbed by petty things in life and makes all kinds of excuses.
Guru Mahārāja, I genuinely want to progress in bhakti and take full advantage of your presence and your causeless mercy.
Please bless me, Guru Mahārāja, so that I may become your initiated disciple and serve you and Śrīla Prabhupāda.
I truly wish to become a humble servant in this great mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and only your blessings can make that possible.
Your servant,
Ākāśa Kumāra
