Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Priyanka (Mayapur - India)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

This fallen soul has been wandering from life after life, womb after womb, under illusion—committing countless sins. So fallen that I couldn’t even recognize light amidst the darkness.

One day, by the mercy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, I received harināma and came to know of Śrīla Prabhupāda. I prayed to Śrīla Prabhupāda, and by his grace, you entered my life.

I am a fool. My intelligence was full of dirt. I was completely unqualified to receive you as my Gurudeva, and yet still I pray to Kṛṣṇa to give me you as my Gurudeva—because you are the ocean of mercy.

Of course, you are the strongest warrior in Śrīla Prabhupāda’s army. But for a jīva like me—crushed under the weight of material nature—what I truly need is mercy. And you, Guru Mahārāja, are the abode of mercy.

Because of your mercy, I am now somehow swimming through this material ocean, even though at a slow pace. Still, I am afloat only by your grace.

O Gurudeva, I am praying to Lord Caitanya and Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava for your health and for the fulfillment of all your divine desires.

Please help me, Gurudeva, to remove the ignorance in my heart, to chant the holy name attentively, and—more than anything—please give me a chance to serve you.

Your insignificant servant,
Priyankā
