All glories to you, Śrīla Gurudeva!

This very insignificant disciple of yours is taking this opportunity to offer you homage. On a very fortunate day in my life, I offered myself to you, saying, “I am yours, Gurudeva,” and you said, “I accept you.” During the ISKCON TODU Inauguration Ceremony, you gave me initiation. I was not worthy of it, yet you accepted this conditioned soul as your disciple. I am very blessed that I have been initiated by you. There is nothing greater than this day that I can count in my life.

It is our great fortune that the spiritual strength bestowed by Lord Balarāma is manifested in you in fullness. We can recall your firm determination to preach the message of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, your absolute conviction in the spiritual truth, and your unflagging determination to push forward this ISKCON movement against all odds. Your strength gave us our strength. In your presence, there was no fear, no question, and no hesitation.

Dear Gurudeva, you always inspire me through the messages you share regarding your day-to-day sādhana, classes, services, your contributions to so many initiatives at Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma, and your immense love for studying Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books.

All glories to your Vyāsa-pūjā day! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to my dearest Gurudeva!

I have no qualifications to speak words of your glorification. Gurudeva, you are an ocean of mercy. You have accepted this fallen soul as your disciple. Gurudeva, you inspire me and motivate me through your personal behavior, words, and actions. It is very easy to say big, big words, but I know who I am—an unworthy person. But yes, I am sure you will save me.

Dear Gurudeva, I pray to the Lordships Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava, Śrī Pañca-tattva, Śrī Narasiṁhadeva, and Śrī Jagannātha, Baladeva, and Subhadrā Māiyā to bestow upon you immense strength and a very long and healthy life so that you may shower your mercy on many more conditioned souls.

Dear Gurudeva, please bless me and my family that we may be able to offer service and preach with the required enthusiasm and assertiveness by your mercy.

Your insignificant servant,
Kalāvatī Viśākhā Devī Dāsī (Dīkṣā)
