Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Śrīhari Śrīdhara Dāsa (Bangalore - Sri Jagannath Mandir Seshadripuram - India)

Hare Krishna Guru Maharaja,
Please accept our respectful obeisances at your divine lotus feet.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to you, our beloved spiritual master!

On this auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyasa Puja Mahotsav, we offer our deepest gratitude, love, and heartfelt prayers at your lotus feet. Vyasa Puja is a moment for us—your unworthy yet hopeful disciples—to remember, reflect, and re-commit ourselves to your divine instructions and to the mission of Srila Prabhupada that you so beautifully carry forward.

brahmāṇḍa bhramite kona bhāgyavān jīva
guru-kṛṣṇa-prasāde pāya bhakti-latā-bīja
~Chaitanya Charitamrita Madhya 19.151

“According to their karma, all living entities are wandering throughout the entire universe. Some of them are being elevated to the upper planetary systems, and some are going down into the lower planetary systems. Out of many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Kṛṣṇa. By the mercy of both Kṛṣṇa and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service.”

Guru Maharaja, your divine presence in our lives is the most precious gift. Your life is a living embodiment of surrender, devotion, and relentless compassion. You have taken the instructions of Srila Prabhupada as your life and soul, just as Lord Ramachandra accepted the instruction of His father without hesitation. You once said in Mayapur on April 12, 2011, that "Lord Rama accepted His father’s words as life and soul, similarly we must accept the spiritual master’s words as life and soul.” This message has deeply impacted our hearts and continues to illuminate the path of bhakti for us.

You have taught us that spiritual life is all about sincerity and dedication to Guru's instruction. Through your divine example, you have shown us that even amidst great physical challenges, devotional service can be performed with boundless enthusiasm, humility, and joy. Guru Maharaja, you are the most positive soul we have ever met. You see only the good in others, encourage everyone—regardless of qualification—and bless them with your shelter. Kindly bless us that we also see good qualities in others and see bad qualities in ourselves.

In the Guru Ajna program in Madurai, your message was like a thunderbolt of realization for us. You said, “It is easy to become a Guru. Just repeat what Prabhupada said as it is without any speculation.” Such simplicity in your instruction reveals the deep faith you have in Srila Prabhupada and his teachings. You emphasized regular reading of Prabhupada’s books, cultivating humility by seeing only good in others, and grihasthas should act like Paramahamsas. You have appealed to all your disciples to help you to fulfill the instructions given by Srila Prabhupada to you.  An important takeaway for us is your instructions to be humble and think oneself to be lower than straw on the street and be more tolerant than a tree.

You simplify Krishna consciousness in such a way that even fallen souls like us begin to believe that we too can serve, we too can transform. You are the Spiritual Sun that drives away the darkness of doubt and lethargy from our lives. Without your mercy, Guru Maharaja, we have no hope. But with your mercy, we are confident that even we can advance on this sublime path.

You never speculate. You never deviate. You are fixed in your vows. You always say, “Preach Krishna consciousness to everyone. Expand the movement unlimitedly.” We are inspired by your call, and though our capacity is small, our desire is to serve your mission with all sincerity.

Guru Maharaja, please bless us:

- That we may always take your instructions as our life and soul.
- That we may develop genuine humility and eagerness to serve.
- That we may rise above our anarthas and serve this glorious movement with dedication.
- That we never disobey or forget your words, no matter the situation.

You are our eternal guide, our lighthouse, and our path back to Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha Madhava.

On this Vyasa Puja, we pray: May we always remember you. May we never forget your instructions. May we always serve your divine mission with enthusiasm.

Your aspiring servants,
Srihari Sridhara Das and Premamayi Pooja Devi Dasi
