We want you to know – you are our heart and soul. You came to the Western world on the order of your Guru Mahārāja, carrying the mission of Kṛṣṇa consciousness purely in your heart with unwavering faith and compassion for all conditioned souls.
In that same spirit, we are trying to serve your mission here in Barrie, Ontario. We are small and limited, but we sincerely pray for your mercy so that this place may become fertile ground in the true sense, where sincere devotees can grow, deepen their faith, and remain steady in service to Kṛṣṇa.
If ever we fall short, we pray to rise again only for you, only for your pleasure, and only to keep your instructions alive in our hearts and actions.
Please continue to guide us, protect us, and keep us connected to your lotus feet.
With deepest gratitude and humility,
The devotees at ISKCON Barrie

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your lotus feet on this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā. All glories unto you and your divine appearance day.
With hearts filled with gratitude, we thank you for allowing us another year in the service of your divine mission. It is only by your causeless mercy that we have any opportunity to serve. We sincerely pray to remain loyal to your instructions for the rest of our lives.
We have no qualification to glorify such an exalted personality as yourself. Whatever little we attempt to express can never do justice to your unlimited glories. What you have accomplished has never happened in the past, nor will it happen again in the future. Your unparalleled contribution to spreading the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu continues to guide and inspire us at every step.
As a humble offering for your pleasure, we wish to report that by your inspiration, ISKCON Scarborough has endeavored to expand your mission. This year we have distributed more of your transcendental books than ever before. By your mercy, we have also collected a record amount of funds toward acquiring a new property, aspiring to create a center that will better facilitate devotional service and outreach.
Our congregational community continues to grow steadily, firmly rooted in the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. By your blessings, the Murari Bhakti School is inspiring hundreds of children and youth to take up Kṛṣṇa consciousness, nurturing the next generation of devotees.
By your divine grace, we were also able to extend your mission to the far northern region of Nunavut. For the very first time, the holy name was chanted, your books were distributed, prasādam was offered and shared, and discourses on Kṛṣṇa consciousness were conducted. This historic outreach was successfully carried out with the association and guidance of His Holiness Bhaktimārga Mahārāja with the support of ISKCON Scarborough.
As our community increases day by day, we eagerly look forward to expanding further once we are blessed with a larger property equipped with all necessary facilities to serve your mission more effectively.
Holding a blade of grass between our teeth, we offer our prostrated obeisances unto you again and again. We thank you for your boundless mercy and guidance. Whatever we have achieved is only by your grace. We pray that in the coming year we may become better instruments in your hands and expand your glories even further.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
On this sacred occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of ISKCON, we offer our most humble and heartfelt obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. You have made immeasurable sacrifices for the upliftment of all conditioned souls, and through your boundless mercy, you have given the entire world the priceless gift of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Whatever śāstras we study – Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam – the true inspiration comes alive through the shining example of great ācāryas like you. Your life proves that the teachings of the śāstras are not mere philosophy but living truths that can be practiced in every circumstance. Through your divine example, you have given us unshakable faith. No matter how difficult the situation, you have shown us how to remain fixed on the ultimate goal and live with deep spiritual understanding. You have revealed that it is possible to live free from anxiety and to progress toward an eternal, spiritual existence. You taught the whole world that even a simple life, centered on devotion, can lead to the highest consciousness. From an apparently ordinary family life, you rose to an extraordinary position of spiritual strength and universal influence. With unwavering faith in your spiritual master, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, you dedicated your entire life to service, and with great compassion, you passed that same faith into our hearts. You are truly a great ācārya for the whole world – a genuine mahātmā.
Your childhood itself stands as a divine arrangement. By the grace of your exalted father, the great Vaiṣṇava Gour Mohan De, your life was carefully molded in Kṛṣṇa consciousness from the very beginning. He nurtured your every spiritual inclination, valuing even your smallest devotional sentiments. With deep vision, he raised you not just materially, but spiritually, ensuring you received both a material and transcendental education. Like a sculptor who sees the deity within stone, he saw your future greatness and shaped you into a dhīra – steady, wise, and spiritually awakened. You recognized him as a pure devotee and understood the invaluable importance of his association. Through his guidance, you demonstrated to the world the true responsibility of a parent: to guide a child toward the ultimate goal of life – service to guru and Kṛṣṇa.
Because of this perfect upbringing, when you met your spiritual master, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, you immediately recognized his true position as the representative of sādhu and śāstra. Your doubts were dispelled, and you deeply realized the urgent need for every jīva to take to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. From your very first meeting, when you were instructed to spread Lord Caitanya’s message in English, you accepted that order within your heart as your life and soul. Your only question thereafter was, “How shall I serve you?” – a perfect expression of surrender, faith, and eternal connection with your guru. Through this mood, you established the highest example of the guru-disciple relationship and dedicated your life fully to fulfilling his instruction.
Despite living as a householder, working, and managing responsibilities, you were always absorbed in how to serve and spread the message of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Though you faced many challenges – within family, society, and materially – you never deviated from your mission. Even when support was withdrawn, when your business failed, and when you faced opposition even at home, you saw everything as Kṛṣṇa’s arrangement and mercy. Your transcendental faith never wavered.
You endured deep loneliness after the departure of your father and spiritual master, yet you remained grateful, holding tightly to their final instructions. While publishing Back to Godhead, you tolerated neglect and insult. Even when your Bhagavad-gītā manuscript was stolen – twice – you did not lose heart; you simply wrote it again with greater determination. For nearly forty years, you patiently waited and struggled to fulfill your spiritual master’s desire. No rejection, disrespect, or hardship could stop you, because you were firmly situated in the truth given by your guru.
Finally, in 1966, by your causeless mercy, you established ISKCON with the clear mission of giving bhakti to the entire world and awakening pure Kṛṣṇa consciousness in every heart.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, you carried Kṛṣṇa consciousness across oceans and offered it freely to all humanity. You shaped your life completely according to the desire of the Lord, dedicating yourself to uplifting conditioned souls. You did not merely teach philosophy – you established a living path for all of us to follow. You emphasized that true spiritual life is not just about rules and regulations but about reviving our lost spirit of devotion. You taught us to take shelter of guru, sādhu, and śāstra, and through their association, to reconnect with genuine Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Traveling to the Western countries at an advanced age, you endured unimaginable hardships, yet your determination never weakened. Your life stands as a radiant example of surrender, selflessness, gratitude, and unwavering faith. You have shown that when one fully depends on the spiritual master and acts with sincerity, Kṛṣṇa provides all guidance and support.
Now, by your mercy, it is our responsibility to follow the path you have so compassionately given – to cultivate humility, service attitude, and surrender to guru, and to share this message for the benefit of all living beings with cooperation.
If one has the association of a pure Vaiṣṇava in life, it is more valuable than anything else in this world. Your own life stands as the perfect proof of this truth. By your causeless mercy, you gave this priceless opportunity to your disciples, and through them it continues to flow – from one to another – spreading that same divine mercy to all.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we remain eternally indebted to your sacrifice, your compassion, and your boundless mercy. Your insignificant servants, offering our humble obeisances again and again.
Your humble servant

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace. All glories to Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga.
We are honored and blessed to be writing this offering on the auspicious and glorious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā. This year marks the sixtieth anniversary of your embarking on a journey to fulfill your spiritual master’s instructions to spread the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu to the Western countries. You departed India on August 13, 1965, from Calcutta. On September 17, 1965, at age 69, you reached the port of New York. This date has and will be embedded in the hearts of millions of followers of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu around the world. You traveled aboard the cargo ship Jaladuta for one month. Despite suffering two heart attacks on the ship, you continued on to fulfill your guru’s instructions.
At Boston Harbor, you wrote a heartfelt prayer to Lord Kṛṣṇa you titled Mārkine Bhāgavata-dharma. It wasn’t just a prayer; it was your submissive oral reception, your seeking the blessings of Lord Kṛṣṇa so you would be able to convince the conditioned souls of His message. Your submissive mood of “unfortunate,” “unqualified,” and “the most fallen” teaches us that we are not in control and must take shelter of the holy name of Kṛṣṇa always.
You came with only 40 rupees and a few copies of Sanskrit text in the form of your published books. But you came with deep faith in the message of Lord Kṛṣṇa. In your initial year, you struggled and experienced so much hardship. You lived in a small, windowless room, endured a cold harsh winter. You started the movement by doing kirtan at Thompson Square Park. It was after almost a year of great difficulty that you established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in July 1966.
In the last ten years of your life, in spite of your advanced age, you circled the globe twelve times on lecture tours that took you to six continents. Despite such a vigorous schedule, you continued to write prolifically, establishing 108 temples, farm communities, and initiating disciples around the world.
At ISKCON Toronto, we take pride that this is one of those 108 temples you established. You visited the temple and stayed. With your blessings, the Toronto temple has excelled in many fields. Here are the highlights and offerings of our different departments.
Temple operations: By your causeless mercy, Śrīla Prabhupāda, the Toronto temple and ashram are blossoming beautifully, with more souls being drawn to kirtan, festivals, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam classes, and heartfelt outreach. People from all backgrounds come, stay, and gradually find shelter in the chanting of the holy names, just as you envisioned. In such nourishing association, even a newcomer can feel spiritually at home, inspired by the warmth of devotees and the guidance of senior Vaiṣṇavas, whose visits deeply reconnect us to guru and our paramparā. The residents serve tirelessly, caring for the temple as their very own home, and this spirit of Kṛṣṇa’s family is truly moving to witness. Personally, we feel most fortunate to be engaged in this service at New Remuṇā. We are simply trying to be instruments in Mahāprabhu’s service.
Building Improvement Committee: Śrīla Prabhupāda, by your mercy, the Building Improvement Committee has made steady progress in enhancing your temple. The long-awaited elevator is now installed and fully operational, improving accessibility for all. Alongside upgrades to Matchless Gifts and revisiting the lower-level flooring, our attention has now turned upward. A new multipurpose room is being developed on the balcony to support education, meetings, drama practices, and other community activities. In addition, a dedicated pūjārī changing room has been created, along with access to a new outdoor terrace above Govinda’s. Our current major focus is the renovation of the Deity preparation area, where we are installing new closets, organizers, preparation islands, and improved storage to better support daily worship. With your continued blessings, we hope to further expand the balcony area and eventually develop the large attic space for future service and engagement.
Govinda’s Dining: Govinda’s Dining continues to operate in your temple, as per your inspiration, and by your mercy it has now become our top revenue generator, helping to fund outreach efforts and essential renovations. It serves thousands of thalis and traditional preparations, nourishing both body and soul. This year, we carefully expanded the menu to include items like pizza, cake, and a variety of creative drinks and snacks to attract a younger demographic. In this way, Govinda’s is not only sustaining the temple but also becoming a warm and welcoming gathering place where devotees can reconnect and feel at home in your center.
Book distribution: Our book distribution team has been blessed to participate in the global efforts to share your divine books far and wide. By your mercy, during last year’s Bhadra Pūrṇimā campaign, we collectively distributed 410 sets of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and for the Live to Give campaign, 28,500 Bhagavad-gītās and their equivalents were distributed. For the third year in a row, by your inspiration and blessings, we were able to remit over $100,000 USD to your BBT, and we were recognized among the top-ranking book distribution communities in North America.
Fundraising team: We gratefully acknowledge the strong foundation of the fundraising team built by dedicated devotees like Mother Subuddhi, Rūpa Manohara Prabhu, Keshava Prabhu, and others. The temple continues to benefit from their tireless efforts in cultivating patrons. Today’s team remains committed to your vision of expanding Kṛṣṇa consciousness. We also continue to nurture and serve our dedicated patrons, whose ongoing support is the lifeline of our temple programs and our Ratha-yātrā, through thoughtful care and regular communication. Together, we have achieved meaningful milestones, including the ever-increasing volume of the Ratha-yātrā, completing the long-awaited elevator project, etc. Each success reflects your teachings, guidance, and our shared commitment to work in unity with the team, temple management, board, and GBC.
Sunday Funskool: By your mercy, our Sunday school and virtual Bhagavad-gītā classes are progressing well. Our virtual camp on the twelve mahājanas, featuring yoga, stories, ślokas, kirtan, bhajanas, and creative activities, was well received by children and appreciated by parents. We also continue to serve through our regular virtual saṅgas for children and adults alike during Ekādaśīs and special daily saṅgas during the months of Kārttika and Puruṣottama. Due to severe winter weather, we held virtual classes on Sundays for a short time, but have now resumed in-person sessions. Our annual Gītā contest continues successfully, and it was especially encouraging to see many teens participate and present with deep understanding. On this auspicious day of your divine appearance, we sincerely thank you for engaging us in this service of nurturing young minds. We pray for your continued blessings to stay spiritually motivated and serve these young devotees better.
Education department: In September 2024, a bunch of enthusiastic devotees embarked on a journey to deepen their understanding of śāstra, and in January 2026, these students successfully completed their Bhakti Śāstrī course. Senior congregation members, who’d never taught in this capacity, challenged themselves to facilitate and nurture young minds. The weekly Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Caitanya-caritāmṛta readings that commenced a few years ago continue in full swing, and at the beginning of the year we also started biweekly Bhagavad-gītā readings. The focus this year is on education, so, courses like TTC 1 and 2, Vaiṣṇava Etiquette, our very successful Bhagavad-gītā Eighteen-day Review, a new Bhakti Śāstrī batch, and seminars with visiting guests are in the pipeline. Education is the lifeline that connects us to you, the guru-paramparā, and all the way to our dear Lordships. We sincerely pray at your lotus feet that more people awaken to the questions that lie dormant within and dare inquire on topics that you’ve flooded the world with in your books.
Festival team: Festivals at ISKCON Toronto are a beautiful blend of transcendental bliss and behind-the-scenes logistics. From intimate devotee gatherings to large-scale public celebrations such as Janmāṣṭamī and the annual Śrīla Prabhupāda Festival on January 1, each event requires extensive planning and coordination. Despite the challenges, our dedicated team of volunteers across departments comes together with one goal. They work tirelessly to overcome every obstacle so we can offer our community uplifting kirtans, inspiring classes, sumptuous prasādam, and beautiful darshan of Their Lordships. These festivals aren’t just events; they’re offerings of love, made possible by the selfless service of devotees and the generous support of our community.
Vaiṣṇavas Care team: On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā day, dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda, we, from Vaiṣṇavas Care, bow our heads in deep gratitude for the matchless gift you gave to the world. By your compassion, countless souls, who longed for spiritual shelter and dignity, have found their true identity as beloved servants of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Śrīla Prabhupāda, your vision was not limited by time, place, or circumstance. You uplifted all, teaching us that every devotee, regardless of background or situation, is a vital part of Lord Caitanya’s saṅkīrtana movement. Your instructions empower Vaiṣṇavas to serve with strength, grace, and unwavering faith. With your blessings and your disciple Her Grace Saṅgīta Mātājī’s guidance, we serve the Vaiṣṇavas in our community who are going through health challenges. We visit the devotees who are in need of association at hospitals, nursing homes, and residences with prasādam, and spend time reading your books, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, and Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā. We chant with them and keep a recording of you chanting playing until they leave their bodies in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Though this is a difficult and emotional sevā, we are able to carry on this service with your blessings. We humbly beg at your lotus feet on this auspicious day, that you please empower us to continue this legacy of Vaiṣṇava care eternally, without which we are simply hopeless.
Bhakti Academy: Bhakti Academy humbly offers this report from 2025 to March/April 2026. With your mercy, we were able to host eighty residents in the ashram, offering young people shelter, training, and spiritual association. Twelve devotees took steps toward deeper commitment through harināma initiation. In book distribution, your transcendental mission continued through the distribution of 2,048 books. By your blessings, $35,945.95 in lakṣmī was collected in support of preaching and service. Through eight outreach initiatives – including Divine Dialogues, Bhakti Yoga Studio, Bhakti Yoga Club, Meditation Party, saṅkīrtana, Bhajana Evenings, and Saturday Love Feasts, we were able to connect with many seekers. Internally, six in-house programs – including daily morning programs, group Bhagavad-gītā readings, skill-building sessions, Living Bhakti sessions, study time together, and iṣṭagoṣṭhīs – helped nourish the devotional growth of residents. May we continue to hold tightly to your dhoti so that you may guide us back to Godhead, where we can eternally serve together under your loving care.
Deity Worship department: The head pūjārīs are tirelessly serving at the lotus feet of Kṣīra-cora-Gopīnātha whether it be raining, snowing, or severely cold – they are always there serving. They dress the Deities beautifully, with care and love. Many visitors come to take darshan of the Deities daily. This summer the Deity room will undergo renovation, with new cabinets, drawers, and closets to store the Deities’ paraphernalia.
Prasādam distribution: The temple kitchen is tirelessly cooking daily prasādam for hundreds of visitors to Govinda’s restaurant. On festivals, the kitchen cooks prasādam for eight hundred visitors, and on Janmāṣṭamī 2025, we distributed prasādam to close to twenty thousand visitors. Our Sunday Love feast is distributing prasādam weekly to close to a thousand visitors. With your blessings, our in-house prasādam distribution is going well.
The temple council and board members are touched and humbled by witnessing all the departments serving cooperatively for your pleasure. We seek your blessings that we continue to serve the devotees, visitors, and newcomers with love and compassion, and expand our preaching, book and prasādam distribution, and the transcendental sound vibration of the holy name of Kṛṣṇa: Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare / Hare Rāma Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma Hare Hare.
Forever, your fallen and aspiring servants of the temple council,

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble and sincere obeisances! All glories to Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga. All glories to your spiritual master, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura!
We are immensely grateful for your endless mercy. Thanks to you and your unalloyed dedication to your spiritual master, we are so fortunate to have a higher transcendental purpose in life and an opportunity to serve your mission.
We kindly ask you to accept our offerings to you. In our humble attempt to serve your mission of propagating Kṛṣṇa consciousness and bringing knowledge of the Bhagavad-gītā to diverse groups of people, this year we have been continuously conducting regular weekly programs. We also celebrated all major Vaiṣṇava festivals and started a bhakti-vṛkṣa program. Also, we started an online store to make your books available across Canada in the Russian language. Many devotees enthusiastically read your books, absorbing and then sharing the spiritual knowledge you explain so beautifully with others.
We are begging for your mercy, blessings, and help so that we can continue and improve our outreach and devotee care services.
Thank you very much again for opening our eyes, giving us knowledge, inspiration, and spiritual strength!
Your servants in training,
The Russian-speaking yātrā of Toronto

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā in 2026, we offer our heartfelt gratitude and humble homage. This is our first Vyāsa-pūjā offering at your lotus feet, and we pray that you kindly accept this small expression of devotion. You are the empowered representative of Śrīla Vyāsadeva and the most compassionate emissary of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Out of your causeless mercy, you carried the message of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu across oceans and continents, illuminating the world with the sublime teachings of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Through your tireless efforts, you established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and presented your transcendental books, which continue to guide humanity toward spiritual awakening. Your instructions on book distribution and temple establishment remain our eternal inspiration and the very foundation of our service. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in your divine mission.
By your mercy and blessings, and with the guidance and encouragement of our late GBC, His Holiness Badrinārāyaṇa Mahārāja, His Grace Vaiśeṣika Prabhu, Zonal Supervisor, Her Grace Nirakula Devī Dāsī, Her Grace Jagariṇī Devī Dāsī, His Grace Kulādri Prabhu, the Regional Governing Body administrator, the support of the Regional Governing Body of North America, including Sunitī Devī Dāsī and Jaya Krishna Prabhu, the ISV Board of Directors, and many well-wishers, we have been able to contribute to the expansion of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to His Grace Vaiśeṣika Prabhu for his constant inspiration in book distribution, and to His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Mahārāja for motivating us to expand the saṅkīrtana movement.
For nearly a decade, Hari Saṅkīrtana and his family cherished the desire to establish a center to address the growing needs of the community. Formal discussions began in 2019 at the ISV board level, where the initiative was carefully evaluated. With the blessings of senior devotees and the guidance of the GBC and RGB authorities, this center was successfully established in 2024 in Livermore, California, then moved to a leased place in Dublin, California.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Hari Saṅkīrtana and Rādhikā Prema, Veṇu Gītā, Siddha Kathā, and Ānanda Vrindavan for initiating the idea and facilitating its development. We also offer our heartfelt thanks to Prema Mādhurī, Sadashiv and Girija and family, Srita Kamala, Lalita-palika, Mahesh, Hema, Aashish, Barsha, Lucy, Pulakit, Yogeswari, Shyamlal, Sunita, Prana-gopika, Sachinandan, Priya-kisori, Sukhada Gauranga, Sriji Priya, Purva, Neha, Suman, Sutra-malika, Mayank, Atyandh, Arpit, Haladhar, Ridhan, Dhruv, Ambarish, and many other devoted members of our congregation, whose dedication has strengthened this mission. We are very much thankful to our donors for helping us maintain the preaching center for spiritual upliftment.
Currently, more than forty or fifty devotees gather each Saturday for congregational programs, where we study the Bhagavad-gītā, perform kirtan, chant one round on beads, and distribute prasādam to all visitors. Following the guidance of Vaiśeṣika Prabhu, book distribution remains our top priority, and we regularly engage in this sacred service every Saturday for your pleasure. Our center also conducts a variety of outreach and devotional initiatives, including:
- Children’s enrichment programs
- Summer and overnight camps
- A Hare Krishna Unity Run
- Wellness and community development programs
- Gopika meetups
- Cooking and cultural training sessions
- Weekday scriptural reading and daily morning chanting
We are also preparing to launch a Bhakti Śāstrī course to promote systematic spiritual education and academic excellence.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, whatever little service we are able to render is only by your causeless mercy. Despite our shortcomings and disqualifications, you have given us the invaluable opportunity to serve your divine mission. We humbly pray for your blessings so that we may remain steadfast in our spiritual practices, united in cooperation, and fully engaged in spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Kindly empower us to expand the saṅkīrtana movement throughout the Tri-Central Valley area of California. Please bless us with the strength, humility, and determination to follow your instructions and to remain faithful instruments in your service.
Thank you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, for your boundless compassion, transcendental wisdom, and eternal presence through your vāṇī. You will forever remain our guiding light and our eternal spiritual master.
Your insignificant servant,
Balimardana Dāsa, president
