Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
On this auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā, our thoughts turn toward how we can assist you in your plan to please your spiritual master and to how we can assist your servants in this endeavor. You spoke to us extensively about what that service is, but because this service is very confidential, we need to constantly turn to you to ensure we are on the right track.
You were once asked what service pleases you the most. You replied that what pleases you the most is that we become conscious of Kṛṣṇa. That way we will know what Kṛṣṇa wants and we will therefore know how to act and what to do in this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement.
We may not be sufficiently pure to be conscious of Kṛṣṇa, but we always have you in your multimanifested powerful form as in your books, your mūrti, your dedicated devotees, your Śrīla Prabhupāda-līlāmṛta. He reasons ill who says that Vaiṣṇavas die.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, please continue to be with us in our endeavors here in Dublin. Please give us the intelligence to carry out your will. Please give us the strength to do so. May we continue to cooperate to become Kṛṣṇa conscious and to share that Kṛṣṇa consciousness with others, in your service.
On behalf of your servants in Dublin, Ireland,
Manu Dāsa

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to you! Thank you very much, Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Thank you for your great dedication to the mission of Lord Kṛṣṇa and our Lord Gaurāṅga! And thank you for your patience, wonderful behavior, and compassion toward all of us!
The rarest and most valuable thing in this world is a pure devotee of Kṛṣṇa. In the material world, there is always some contamination. Therefore all the knowledge we receive is more or less contaminated, or wrong! By the mercy of Kṛṣṇa we had a unique fortune to come in contact with you in the form of your book, classes, videos, and your most wonderful movement, ISKCON!
Even though in this lifetime I was not able to see you personally, I feel a very strong connection with you through your books and devotees! Reading only a few pages of your books can completely change the life of a person if he dedicates his life to following what you write. I was reading in the Bhagavad-gītā that Kṛṣṇa cannot be pleased without brahminical culture and cow protection. I was thinking that brahminical culture is too difficult for me, but let me try with cow protection.
I’ve now been doing this service for the past twenty-two years, and during this time so many wonderful things have happened in my life. Now more devotees are engaged as well, and I am sure that you are seeing us and are very pleased with us!
We all going through different illusions, but the persons who dedicate their lives to your instructions will be eternally benefited!
Your eternal servant,
Nitāi Candra Dāsa

Dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda,
I bow down to your divine lotus feet.
Every year it is more exciting to write you because I feel closer and closer to you. As my body grows older and older, I feel close to you more and more.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, I write you this letter on behalf of the Greek yātrā. In Greece it is not so easy to present your books and Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s teachings because the Greeks have been “educated” for many centuries with the understanding that only through Jesus Christ, who they consider to God Himself, can we reach the kingdom of God. They deeply disrespect any other spiritual path.
We have faced many obstacles and challenges in the past, and we are facing more of both now in this difficult country, but anyway, we go out every day to distribute your books and prasādam. As you said, “You will always have your customers.” Every day we meet special people. For sure not many, but every day special souls are saved by your divine books, especially Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā!
I’m experimenting here in Greece. It’s a little bit the sweet taste of being a pioneer in a difficult country, a little bit like you experienced in the Bowery. I feel very fortunate and blessed by staying here in Greece to “fight” on your behalf! This keeps me young, enthusiastic, and focused on your mission.
My constant meditation is about you in your beginnings in New York. Every day I become more and more absorbed in your hard and difficult early days of preaching Kṛṣṇa consciousness in Manhattan. The streets of Manhattan are my streets of Vrindavan – you walked those Manhattan streets distributing Kṛṣṇa consciousness. You are the greatest “soul seeker” because you left Vrindavan and went to the Bowery, living among the worse drunkards and drug addicts of America. From the garbage of this planet, you cultivated roses and lotus flowers! From the vagabonds, you brought out saintly ladies and saintly gentlemen!
You are the real personification of what the holy scriptures speak about: a Vaiṣṇava, a devotee of Śrī Kṛṣṇa! What a miracle happened in the streets of New York. This is our ultimate and real holy dhāma! For sure, Vrindavan is Vrindavan, but the mercy of Lord Nityānanda and Lord Gaurāṅga walked there in the streets of Manhattan through your unlimited compassionate nature of the greatest ācārya! You exemplify the meaning of a pure devotee delivering the lowest! That’s why I said that my heart is not so much in Vrindavan as in the streets of New York, where you faced the most difficult time of your life.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, please grant me the possibility to serve the sacrifices that you performed in order to save us. I know I’m not qualified to receive that special mercy, but please grant it to me because otherwise everything else is useless to me. Without the dust of your lotus feet that you left in Manhattan, my life is meaningless.
Your servant,
Dayānidhi Dāsa

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, the devotees of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Dhāma, The Hague, Holland, offer our heartfelt gratitude and prayers. By your causeless mercy, your movement continues to guide and uplift conditioned souls even amidst the turbulence of the present age.
This past year has tested our community in many ways. The path has at times felt uncertain, and yet at every turn we have found our shelter in your instructions and in the holy name. By your grace, our regular programs have been restored, and once again the names of Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are being chanted vibrantly in our congregation. This past year has shown us the truth of this teaching again and again. What seemed beyond us was accomplished by your shelter alone.
By your inspiration, we were blessed to organize the first Boat Festival in the Netherlands. It was a joyful opportunity for many souls to hear the holy name in the association of devotees in a setting both novel and memorable. We pray this humble effort has brought some small pleasure to your lotus feet.
We have also continued to work diligently toward a new temple building, hoping to establish a permanent home where your teachings may flourish for generations to come. By your shelter, we have been carried through significant legal challenges connected to this project, and that protection has renewed our faith and strengthened our determination to see this sacred service through.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, whatever has been accomplished is only due to your mercy. And whatever struggles we have faced have, in their own way, been your mercy too, reminding us of our complete dependence upon you. Please bless us with unity, purity, determination, and the spirit of selfless service, that we may become worthy instruments in your mission.
We pray that Śrī Kṛṣṇa Dhāma may always remain a place where devotees are nourished, newcomers are welcomed, and the holy names resound loudly in glorification of Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa.
Begging for a drop of your mercy and service, your aspiring servants,

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you on this most wonderful day!
2026 is a very special year for all Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas around the globe. This year, we have already celebrated Lord Caitanya’s 540th anniversary. Two other remarkable occasions are coming soon: the sixtieth anniversary of the incorporation of ISKCON and, of course, the 130th anniversary of Your Divine Grace. Devotees all over the world are going to celebrate these most precious events. We at ISKCON Heidelberg are also looking forward to observing them.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, on this wonderful day we are meditating on your childhood pastimes. Being born into a pure Vaiṣṇava family, you were surrounded by devotion to Kṛṣṇa all the time. You were absolutely charmed by the beauty of Their Lordships Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Govinda from a very early age. You soon asked your father to get you your own Deities so you could serve Them with love and devotion.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, your father, Gour Mohan De, wanted three things for you: “He wanted you to become a servant of Rādhārāṇī, to become a preacher of the Bhāgavatam, and to learn the devotional art of playing mṛdaṅga.” (Śrīla Prabhupāda-līlāmṛta, chapter 1). You indeed made his dreams come true.
When you were only about six years old, you organized a Ratha-yātrā festival in your neighborhood. Satsvarūpa dāsa Goswami mentions in the Līlāmṛta that, by engaging your playmates in the Ratha-yātrā preparations, you became their natural leader: “Wearing a dhoti and no shirt in the heat of summer, Abhay led the children in chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa and in singing the appropriate Bengali bhajana, Ki kara rāi kamalinī.” (Śrīla Prabhupāda-līlāmṛta, chapter 1).
Even at such a young age, Śrīla Prabhupāda, you were already a person others wanted to follow. It was completely natural for them to follow you. The same happened with the young people of the US when you went there in 1965. Your disciples’ memories of how they first met you and joined the movement are the best evidence of this.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we are in your eternal debt. We understand that this debt cannot be repaid. Yet, like a child who wants to please his father and buys him a present using his father’s own money, we are trying to please Your Divine Grace by preaching Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the people in Heidelberg and the nearby cities. Our regular harināmas attract the attention of passers-by. They eagerly take your books and prasādam. They also like to take pictures, record videos, and share them. Our dear Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi welcome fifteen to twenty new visitors every Sunday, bringing the total attendance to 100–120 devotees and guests at the Sunday feasts. They dance and chant in ecstasy, listen to Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Bhagavad-gītā classes, and honor prasādam.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we pray to be helpful in Lord Caitanya’s harināma-saṅkīrtana movement. Please bless us to become useful instruments in your mission.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to you and your spiritual master.
Thank you for bringing the wealth of love for Kṛṣṇa to the entire world! We can never be grateful enough to you for the sacrifices you made to give us this mercy. It is unfathomable how you came halfway across the world at the age of 70, suffering two heart attacks while aboard a cargo ship, and doing what you have done in a short span of eleven years. This was only possible because of the love of Godhead you possess.
As your spiritual master, Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī famously stated – and as quoted by you in your purport to Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi 13.67: “There is no scarcity of anything within this world. The only scarcity is of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.” Later in your purport to Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya 8.44, you state: “Unless one is a first-class devotee, he cannot be a preacher.” This treasure of love of Godhead has specifically been entrusted to you for distribution: kṛṣṇa-śakti vinā nahe tāra pravartana (Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya 7.11).
We here in Iceland are trying in our very humble manner to make you proud with whatever little we are able to do with our very limited resources. Each year we accomplish a new milestone only by your mercy. Despite knowing our limitations, we took the risk of coming to Iceland and making an effort, hoping Kṛṣṇa would step in and supply us with what we lack. That has really been our strategy.
Although we are a very small yātrā with very limited capital, manpower, and land and real estate, such things can be easily supplied by Kṛṣṇa as they are abundant all around. The resource we really desperately lack for making our mission successful here, however, is Kṛṣṇa consciousness – that we ourselves develop love for Kṛṣṇa. That resource, of prema-dhana, can only be attained by the mercy of the śrī-guru-paramparā. We therefore pray that we may be able to receive that treasure so that we can be authorized to distribute it to the people of Iceland.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, you and your spiritual master both set the example of spending many years in the holy dhāma doing intense prayer and bhajana to be empowered before starting your mission. One of our spiritual masters, His Holiness Radhanath Swami, followed in your footsteps by doing intense austerities in New Vrindavan before becoming an empowered preacher. However, we are not in a position to first go to a holy place to execute austerities before commencing our mission. We are therefore praying desperately, that we somehow can connect to the causeless mercy coming to us from you through our spiritual masters, and that we may develop advanced Kṛṣṇa consciousness while staying committed in Iceland.
Thank you for engaging us in your service!
