Dear Gurumaharaja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you!

On this auspicious occasion of your 72nd Vyasa Puja, I shall attempt to glorify you, although I have no qualification.

My dear Guru Maharaja, I am extremely grateful to you for accepting this extremely fallen soul under your shelter. You are karuṇā-sindhu, an ocean of mercy, the only solace for me, an adhama jana.

I meditate on the fact that you have extended your stay on this planet to fulfil Srila Prabhupada's instructions, to spread Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's instruction of yāre dekha, tāre kaha ‘kṛṣṇa’-upadeśa, and most importantly, to deliver the fallen souls. I was deeply inspired by the fact that you awoke at 1 AM immersed with the thoughts of devising different ways to preach. You enlighten us with nectarean pastimes of Lord Caitanya, every evening despite all odds. How fortunate I am to have you, an eternal associate of Lord Caitanya as my spiritual master! Yet, I am so wretched that I often do not utilise this wonderful opportunity. Hence, I would like to reinforce my meditation on my initiation vows.

You are an ocean of mercy, compassion, tolerance, equanimity, humility, and maturity. You are the uttama-adhikari devotee we have read of. You personify the qualities of a spiritual master that the Vedas sing of (vede gāy jāhāra carito). Your day is packed with Kṛṣṇa conscious activities. I used to wonder how a cent percent Kṛṣṇa conscious devotee is like, and you demonstrated this lucidly.

It is really heart-touching how you want to take care of each and every devotee, what to speak of your disciples. Your innovative techniques in preaching and engaging the devotees, like the online classes, online ratha-yātrā, home visits, and online parikramās, is truly amazing. I would like to thank you for visiting our house and accepting prasāda online, and we feel like the pandemic was factually a blessing.

On the auspicious occasion of the Kāmada Ekādaśī, you appeared to teach us an important lesson. You teach us time and again to be sincere in our sadhana, without duplicity. You are antaryāmī and you teach us by example. No one can understand the Lord or His pure devotees, and your activities are beyond my limited understanding. Every time I think of your qualities, I get dumbstruck.

Srila Gurudeva, I seek your blessings for my relatives, who have keen interest in hearing Kṛṣṇa kathā, especially in hearing the instructions of Lord Kṛṣṇa as spoken in the Bhagavad-Gita. My mother (Revati Manoharini mataji), my sister (Shreya) and I have been humbly trying to deliver Kṛṣṇa kathā. I seek your blessings for myself and my family so that we can act as instruments in awakening the dormant Kṛṣṇa consciousness in them.

I beg forgiveness for the offences that I have committed, knowingly or unknowingly. I seek your mercy and blessings so that I can fulfil your instructions.

Your spiritual daughter,

Rūpamayī Sudevī dasī
