Vyāsa-pūjā 2021

Ādi Gaurasundara dāsa (Mayapur - India)

Dear GuruMaharaj,

Please accept my Respectful Obeisance’s,

All Glories to you GuruMaharaj,

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Dear GuruMaharaj,

Wish you a very happy Vyasa Puja. Last year due to the virus lockdown we could not congregate to celebrate your Vyasa Puja as we would otherwise with all devotees congregating together in a festive atmosphere. Given the current situation, this year may not be any different as well.

It is such an occasion that I wake up from the slumber of deep-rooted material existence to appreciate the mercy and blessings that have been bestowed upon me in my spiritual life and I begin to take cognizance of the same. I have been residing in Mayapur for the last year and I can say that I am really grateful for the opportunity to be able to reside in the Holy Dham. Over the last year, I have been closely associating with my counselors and have learned various nuances in our philosophy and way of life. I wish to keep associating with devotees and rendering devotional service in their association.

Hari Lila pr mentioned in one lecture about a pastime of an Alwar who would speak with Lord Varadaraj in Kanchipuram daily. On one occasion, he was told by the Lord that he would return back to Godhead only after a million lifetimes since he was not serving a devotee but instead serving the Lord directly. After he heard this he immediately looked out for a devotee to serve. Similarly, GuruMaharaj I am grateful that I have been engaged in various services under your guidance and I cherish those services.

Currently, I am working on bringing out devotional videos under the guidance of Shiromani Mtji related to encouraging people in reading the Bhagavad Gita. I intend to do this service to the best of my capabilities. I am also preaching to a couple of college students via phone and one of them visited Mayapur recently for the Gaura Purnima festival. I have a desire to expand college preaching GuruMaharaj. Please bless me that I am able to render some service that is considered fit by you.

It is very inspiring to see your exemplary example in devotional service. I feel fortunate to be able to witness this and be able to speak about your example to the future generations of devotees to inspire them in their Krishna Consciousness.

Your Insignificant Servant
