Vyāsa-pūjā 2018

Suvarṇa Gopāla Dāsa (Gaurāṅga Deśa - Middle East)

My dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances unto the dust of Your Lotus feets!

All glories to You!  All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Gurudeva, you are an ocean of mercy & am a tiny fish on the shore of that vast ocean, who doesn’t know the depth & deepness of that vast ocean.  Due to your causeless mercy, you have accepted me under your shelter 10 years back. During this period there were lot of ups and downs in my devotional path.  Various challenges & pressures in material life, but your causeless mercy was the only hope for me to overcome those hurdles.

I was conducting one BV for bachelors but due to nonconsistency of their time, couldn’t continue it. But those who can manage their time joined with the family BV where 4 families are attending.  By your mercy they are taking up Krishna consciousness seriously.  One mataji is chanting 16 rounds and others are slowly increasing their rounds.

As part of Gauranga Desh Yatra, I have assigned the seva to take care of outreach & follow up committee under the guidance of senior devotees.  In 2017 we could reach 30 + houses out of which couple of people are attending our Friday satsung programs and some are attending nearby Bhakti Vrisha programs. Some others started sending their kids for children classes.

Gurudeva, Please make me instrumental in helping your mission to serve your beloved spiritual master Srila Prabhupada by which I will become more purified. Kindly forgive all the offences I have committed knowingly and unknowingly and become more serious in my sadhana and enthusiastically serve your mission and our yatra.

I also beg your mercy for my family’s advancement in Krishna Consciousness and they also take shelter of your lotus feet at the earliest. They started chanting & my elder daughter frequently visits Lord Jagannath temple at Coimbatore.

Our spiritual community in Palakkad, Kerala, which you have named as ‘Goloka Vrindavan Residents association’ has started a Namahatta program in a temple premise which is very closed to GVRA. Each Sunday around 50+ people gathers and there is group chanting, Bagavad Gita class & Krishna prasadsa.

Gurudeva, on this very auspicious occasion of Your Vyasa Pooja, I pray to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Lord Prahlad Nrsimhadev, Sri Panca Tatwa & Srila Prabhupada to shower their special blessings on You to overcome your physical difficulties to continue your ever ending desire to spread Krishna consciousness throughout the world.

Your humble servant,

Suvarna Gopala dasa
