Vyāsa-pūjā 2022

Anusariniṣṭha devī dāsī (Lecce - Italy)

To His Holiness

Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Guru Mahārāja

Dearest Guru Mahārāja, Hare Kṛṣṇa.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

All glories to Śrī Guru and Śrī Gaurāṅga!

Please accept our most respectful obeisances to Your lotus feet and we thank You for being an example for us all.

Birth, illness, old age and death are the evils that afflict conditioned souls, but You, with Your elevated spiritual conscience, are overcoming these conditionings with serenity, determination and courage, unlike us, ordinary Jives, who, in similar situations, are always ready to complain, sometimes forgetting our nature as spiritual souls.

When we listen to the Bhagavad-gītā, we realize, through Your example in dealing with difficulties, that it is possible for us too, following in Your footsteps, to stop complaining and welcome the joys and sorrows of life.

You show us in this way that, being in union with the Supreme, one can overcome the dense forest of illusion and that, following the directives of Guru and Kṛṣṇa, one can live with satisfaction under Their tutelage.

You are concretely demonstrating that Kṛṣṇa Consciousness is the salvation for all souls living in the material world and that the safe path is Your example of dedication to Śrīla Prabhupāda's instructions.

Indeed, you are demonstrating that a high level in spiritual life can be achieved with satisfaction by following Guru and Gaurāṅga.

You are the commander of the vessel that will take us to Kṛṣṇa, and if we continue to follow Your directions, navigation will be safe.

Without Your lofty association, surely, we would have no escape sailing the stormy ocean of Māyā.

If we accept, as we accept, that books are the basis, purity, strength, utility and principle, then You are the brightest example of guidance for all.

On this auspicious day of Your appearance, we wish You to regain Your former good health in service to Śrīla Prabhupāda and the devotees.

Wishes, wishes, wishes!!!

Your insignificant servants
