Vṛndā Vaiṣṇavī devī dāsī (Atlanta - United States of America)

Dearest Guru Mahārāja,

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate jayapatāka svāmin iti nāmine
nama ācaryapādāya nitāi-kṛpā-pradāyine
gaura-kathā-dhāma-dāya nagara-grāma-tāriṇe

Please accept my respectful obeisance at your lotus feet on this very auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!!

All glories unto your Divine Grace!!

Happy Vyāsa-pūjā Celebration Guru Mahārāja!!!

Māyā is like a tidal wave
That tries to pull us down
Many feel the pain of grief
Many torn asunder

We all struggle to rise again
To feel the bliss of Kṛṣṇa consciousness
It can be so difficult
Facing so much strife

You are our only Sunshine
You lighten up our world
Every single ray you emanate
Is a sign of hope

Your compassion captures us
And sustains us in tender care
Your smile expels all gloom
And brings only joy in our heart

You came into our life
Like a breath of fresh air
Making difference in each of our lives
Curing us from material suffocation

With your sweet fragrance of Kṛṣṇa Prema!!

O Nectar of Mercy,

I am eternally indebted to Śrīla Prabhupāda and Kṛṣṇa for connecting me to you and allowing me to be your spiritual daughter.

I, the most insignificant, sinner, ignorant, egoistic, corrupted, ill feeling soul do not really know what is good or bad, what to accept or to reject, when to be stubborn or when to be flexible. I bow to your Lotus feet and honestly plead for your causeless mercy. Please help your downtrodden child to be pure, qualified disciple; so that I always remember that I am the insignificant servant of the servant of the Supreme Lord and be able to fix my mind on Gaurāṅga’s Lotus feet. Also please guide this fallen soul to come to light and engage in distributing your bliss Harināma Saṅkīrtana. You are so merciful that anyone who is most sinner and offender can be faultless by your glance. Please forgive me for all the known and unknown offended I committed.

Your most insignificant servant,

Vṛnda Vaiṣṇavī Devī dāsī (dīkṣa)
Rajesh Perumal (aspiring disciple)
