Vyāsa-pūjā 2022

Vaṁsīdhara Viśāla dāsa (Mumbai - Juhu - India)

Dear Guru Maharaj,

 Please accept my respectful obeisances.

 All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
On the occasion of 73rd Vyasa Puja, prayers to their Lordship for your health and seeking blessings from you that I may always remain engaged in service of your holiness & Srila Prabhupada.

On this special day, I am setting focus on ‘preaching’ as a priority for myself as a humble service at your and Srila Prabhupada’s lotus feet. I can only be but an instrument and can do nothing without your mercy & blessings.

The more I am getting to know you the more I become astonished. I am sure that like for me, you are a role model for many and when it comes to what specific aspect you want to imbibe the list just goes on & on.

You are a reservoir of mercy, trying to deliver whoever, wherever and whenever you meet. You never discriminate giving out of mercy based on caste, creed, wealth or position. On the way to a meeting, in hospital, during consultation with doctor, at airport, in flight… not one opportunity is left unutilized. Thinking and acting of giving out Krishna Consciousness 24 by 7, even the clock must be wondering about its purpose to distinguish time of the day. It’s like your prime and only objective is welfare of all.

You are an example of preaching by example, a living embodiment of exclusive surrender. Intense desire of service to Srila Prabhupada & Krishna is what drives you and you direct everything you have, even the last remaining bit of energy in service. At the same time you don’t demand anything from your disciple asking them to at least just maintain their initiation vows.

Your heart and thoughts are magnanimous engaging each and every soul in service to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krishna in some way of the other. Completely disregarding any faults you focus on whatever enthusiasm and eagerness the individual has thus making them feel cared for and expertly motivating them to do more. You know how to connect and interact making the person comfortable and cared for. It’s astounding how you remember names of all with whom you interact.

Aspiring to follow in your foot steps in service to Srila Prabhupada.

Your insignificant servant,
Vamsidhara Visala Das
