Vyāsa-pūjā 2022

Anusha Murti (New Delhi - Punjabi Bagh - India)

Dear Gurumaharāj,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace! All Glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Gurumaharāj, you are the best and foremost example to illustrate that Kṛṣṇa Consciousness is not a philosophy, but it is as practical as it can get. You personally portray, through your life and your own health complications, that the process of pure love for Śrīla Prabhupāda, and Kṛṣṇa, works. Gurumaharāj, your tireless and global preaching efforts to spread the name of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, despite several physical ailments, gives us all the motivation to persevere in the movement with more and more enthusiasm. Your painstaking efforts to deliver humanity is incomparable, and the way you motivate every person you come across, every hospital attendant, every airport personnel, and even random passersby, to chant the holy name is really wonderful. But sometimes I feel bad that you have to take so much effort and work so hard, for our benefit.

Gurumaharāj, today, and every day forward, I pray primarily for three things; Firstly, that I am committed to keep my vow of chanting minimum 16 rounds every day, and persevere to do offenseless chanting; Secondly, grow abundantly in my devotional service and keep my mind and heart clean so I am able to keep you and Śrīla Prabhupāda in my heart, at all times; Thirdly, I pray that I am able to overcome the fear and judgment and freely preach the message of Godhead to my friends and co-workers. Gurumaharāj, I pray to you for these three things because you are the only one merciful enough to enable this in me.

Lastly Gurumaharāj, on this 73rd Vyāsa Pūja, I sincerely pray to Lord Nṛsimhadev, if He desires, to keep you in the best of health and that your dream vision; to complete the construction of the TOVP, comes to reality very very soon.

Thank you Gurumaharāj, for accepting me as your sheltered disciple.

Your lowly servant,

Anusha Murti
