Vyāsa-pūjā 2023

Vimalā Bhāgavatī devī dāsī (Dāmodara Deśa - Middle East)

Respected Guru Mahārāja,

On this auspicious occasion of your appearance day, Kindly accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet, and Kindly forgive my mistakes and shortcomings.

With your, Śrīla Prabhupāda’s and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s mercy, I somehow understand that I am suffering from material disease. I have forgotten my real identity and am foolishly entangled in this forest of illusory material world. Throughout my life, I kept wasting my time and energy in senseless things. When I came to Dubai from India, after me and my husband got job here, we came in contact with Dāmodaradeśa Yātrā here and its wonderful devotees; amazing programs, festivals, courses; that I gradually started attending them and began Bhakti-śāstri course here. That I consider was the most valuable course I had done so far. All this happened because of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mercy for fallen souls esp fallen soul like me.

Your entire life is an outstanding example of Surrender to Guru and Gaurāṅga.

Right from your very young age you had transcendental qualities, your strong desire to meet, serve, and dedicate yourself selflessly to Śrīla Prabhupāda is so remarkable and captivating. Your strong one-pointed desire to selflessly serve Śrīla Prabhupāda is exemplary.

By your dedicated Bhakti, Kṛṣṇa conscious activities and disciplined life style you set amazing example before fallen soul like me.

Even after undergoing so many significant health problems, you continue to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda and his mission with the same enthusiasm and vigor. Your inner strength is transcendental.

Nothing can come in your way of serving Guru and Gaurāṅga. By your example you are showing fallen soul like me, What Bhakti is, in practical sense. Undeterred, unstoppable by any circumstance or circumstances, selfless, only for the pleasure of Guru and Gaurāṅga.

You truly represent what Śrīla Prabhupāda and paramparā of ācāryas taught through their writings and their glorious lives.

Please shower little mercy on this insignificant soul, though I don’t deserve any. I am entangled in this mesh of illusory material world and have no strength to deal with its problems and to release myself from this miserable living. I most humbly seek your blessings for my and my family’s real well being.

I sincerely pray to Rādhā Śyāmsundara for your good health and long life.

I consider myself fortunate and thank the concerned authorities who gave this opportunity to write these few words for your glorification, though I have no qualities / qualification, to understand, what to say or write about your glories.

Please forgive my faults.

Begging to remain in your service,

Unworthy soul

Vandana
