Vyāsa-pūjā 2023

Subhadrā Gopī devī dāsī (Philadelphia - United States of America)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept our respectful obeisance’s at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to Your Divine Grace. We are commemorating the 74th anniversary of Your Divine Grace’s arrival on this planet this year. This day is very auspicious day not only for your disciples but also for all living entities in this earthly planet. You serve as an example for steadfast preaching since you continue to preach despite your physically challenging state, demonstrating that your preaching is unconditional and not influenced by external conditions, making it pure and pleasant to both Śrīla Prabhupāda and Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. According to the śāstras, when Śrī Kṛṣṇa is in a compassionate and forgiving mood to free the conditioned souls, He sends His pure devotees to this planet. The mercy of Lord Kṛṣṇa is personified in these pure devotees. After your health crisis, everyone’s understanding of how Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa personifies mercy has increased. Your Divine Grace has overcome all types of earthly difficulties, demonstrating that you are above the limitations of the physical body and possess complete control over your intellect to direct it toward serving Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. We love how you always emphasize how vital it is to read Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books with great faith and fervor and to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa consciously and with wonderful taste. We sincerely acknowledge that having such an exalted and pure Vaiṣṇava as our Guru Mahārāja is a true blessing. We don’t feel competent to express your exquisite, unparalleled, and limitless attributes, but we pray that one day, through your boundless mercy, our ignorance will be erased and we will possess the skills necessary to fully respect and honor you. May Lord Kṛṣṇa provide us all the blessing of having you physically close by for as long as possible so you can guard and lead us in our devotional lives as well as safeguard ISKCON. May your lotus feet constantly provide us with protection.

We sincerely appreciate all that you do for our family.

Your humble servants,

Sukhada dāsa, Subhadrā Gopī Devī Dāsī, Darśana Kṛṣṇa dāsa and Ādiśeṣa Dāsa
