Vyāsa-pūjā 2023

Mahārāṇī Bhadrā Devī Dāsī (Birmingham - UK - United Kingdom)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at your lotus feet!

All glories to Gaurāṅga, guru-paramparā, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda and Your Divine Grace!

On your 74th Vyāsa-pūjā, please accept my small offering at the dust of your lotus feet!

You are such an amazing example for all of us. No matter what, you will never miss your class. Your dedication and determination are big motivation for me. You are teaching us by your example how to serve guru and paramparā.

In order to fulfill your instruction to preach, I am, once a week, speaking about Brahmā-saṁhitā on zoom to Rampura (Rajasthan, India) devotees, although my knowledge is very limited, but I am trying my level best to learn from my mistakes and gradually improving myself.

I have chosen Brahma-saṁhitā for a very special reason. I was unable to understand its translations and commentaries. Once I heard His Grace Amogha-līlā Prabhu saying in his lecture, if you want to understand śāstra, you should start preaching. Keeping this in my mind, I took a big risk and started speaking on online sessions about Bhakti-śāstrī. To my amazement, it has worked, listening to lectures of His Grace Gokula Candra Prabhu, made it easier for me to understand and as well as to deliver it to others.

I need to focus more on commentaries from Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Swami and Jīva Gosvāmī and that is only possible by systematically and in depth study under proper guidance. I am indecisive about how and where to do Bhakti-śāstrī and other courses. Please guide me within my heart to make right decision, only by your mercy it will be possible.

We are always praying your good heath and long life. Sometimes I feel you are like Bhīṣma Pitāmaḥ, you will leave this material world only when you want to.

Please forgive me for all my offenses which I have committed knowingly and unknowingly. I am a very fallen soul, only by your merciful glance I can be saved.

Please always keep me at the dust of your lotus feet!

Your useless servant,

Mahārāṇī Bhadrā Devī Dāsī
