Vyāsa-pūjā 2023

S Chandrasekar  (Mayapur - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Daṇḍavat-praṇāma.

Please Accept my Humble Obeisances.

Age may move forward.  But “WILL” will accompany.

I feel this statement is very true in your case Mahārāja.  Seeing your activeness even at the age of 73 years, in one way inspires me and one way make me to feel guilty because of the less commitment, which I put forth to bring new devotees forward to Kṛṣṇa Conciousness.

There is a proverb, “The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall”.   Thinking this proverb in mind, whenever I feel I have not done my part in the running week for KC awareness, again try to raise in the upcoming week.   This boost I am getting whenever I come into Sath Sangh and read the quotes of Prabhupāda.

It’s a great feeling when I compare my past actions and present actions.  Few years back, my activities will be driven by the material benefits.  But in the present years, I can see that my activities are driven by the spiritual benefits for me and for my kith & kins.   This transition became possible only because of the ISKCON driven engaging activities like devotees association, serving for the devotees, doing service for Lord Kṛṣṇa during festivals, preaching activities, listening to lectures and so on.

But this flame in my mind, should not remain at this initial stage of transition.   It should illuminate further and thereby support the ISKCON goal for the transition of more materially suffering souls to move towards the goal of reaching the Lotus Feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa.   This is possible only when I get the mercy of great Vaiṣṇavas like you.   Hence on Gaura Pūrṇimā, I request you to bless me to take forward this flame in my mind to expand as a fire, illuminating more and more souls to way forward in reaching the Lotus feet.

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!

Hare Kṛṣṇa.   Jai Śrīla Prabhupāda.  Jai Śrī Guru Mahārāja.

Daṇḍavat-praṇāma

Your humble Servant
