Vyāsa-pūjā 2023

Gaurapriyā Sundarī Devī Dasī ( - Brazil)

Dear Guru Mahārāja, please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

All glories to the day of his transcendent appearance!

Guru Mahārāja, I have been reading your biography "From Milwaukee To Māyāpur", and how extraordinary is your transcendental pastime on this Earth!

I found many topics new to me, such as the fact that the first japa you chanted was on Śrīla Prabhupāda's beads, which a devotee had given you by mistake.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, you are a reservoir of all good qualities. You are not lazy, even with a sick body, you never stop wanting to preach.

You are always young and in a full energy!

Dear Guru Mahārāja, you have so many qualified disciples: sannyāsīs, brahmacārīs, good gṛhasthas, and yet you still manage to remember me, an insignificant girl.

Guru Mahārāja, like Śrīla Prabhupāda, you place so much emphasis on book distribution and reading Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.

You particularly instructed me to read Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and consequently inspired me to have a collection in my house.

Also like your general instruction, you inspired me to get Bhakti Śāstri.

Personally I'm not a good preacher, I can't even distribute books, I'm trying to at least study the scriptures. Please, I ask for your blessings so that I can practice the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

Following the instructions of Mahāpremadā Devī and with the help of Līlā Kamalinī Devī, my dear sisters, I am putting together the Virtual Table Book Distribution Score posts in Portuguese and it is great to see that dozens and hundreds of books are being distributed daily.

You received many instructions from Śrīla Prabhupāda, among them to distribute 10,000 large books and 100,000 small books in one month. My wish is that at some point in this life and even life after life, I can help you fulfill this mission.

Thank you for being our Guru Mahārāja Jayapatākā Swami!

From your eternal insignificant servant,
Gaurapriyā Sundarī Devī Dasī (South Brazil)
