Jayapradā Jāhnavī devī dāsī (Mumbai - Juhu - India)

A Plea To My Dearest Gurudeva:

Nursed as a cocoon by her parents, she grew to become beautiful and proud, As a caterpillar, she dreamed of going to all the places renowned.

As she grew, there wasn't one bit of the creation she didn't try to enjoy, Sometimes she cheated others, at times she was cheated herself. She made some friends, some left, some she left, with others fate had its own play..... She tried to seek love from every corner, selling her happiness for others, she was left an empty cup within...

Caught in the cobweb of the larger preys, she tried to free herself, but alas! She broke her wings instead.

Weary and broken, she heard of a knight, Solace of all broken things alike.

With tattered wings & a shattered heart, she came to his light, in life's doom, he stood a victory flag, tall and bright.

This butterfly how recounts her tale, Oh dear Gurudeva, pleading at your lotus feet,

Please rest your hand on her weary head, a wounded soul longing for someone to believe, may Your lotus feet be forever her only hope and peace!
