Hare Kṛṣṇa Dear Guru Mahārāja

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

All glories to Your Divine Grace!

With deep reverence, I offer my respectful obeisances at your glorious lotus feet on the auspicious occasion of your 75th Vyāsa-pūjā.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for engaging me in the service of Śrīla Prabhupāda and the Guru Paramparā. Being the boundless ocean of mercy that you are, you had graced us in Bangalore last year. Despite the challenges you faced adjusting to the conditions of Bangalore, you still made it a point to visit our small center. You reminded us once again about our shared mission - to make Bangalore the first “Kṛṣṇa Conscious City”. Inspired by your vision, your dear disciples here and many other wonderful devotees strive tirelessly every day to make this prophecy come true.

Please shower your blessings upon all of us so that we may be empowered to push ourselves every day and make this cherished desire of yours a reality.

Thank you for connecting me to this glorious paramparā of the most munificent Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Although I am a poor listener, I have heard about the attachment a disciple must cultivate towards their Guru and his instructions.

Śrīla Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura so intensely desired to take shelter of Śrīla Gaura kiśora Babaji Mahārāja. Śrīla Prabhupāda went through great torturous difficulties with the desire to fulfill the instructions of his Guru Mahārāja and please the Guru Paramparā.

And in that process, he left us with the greatest, most merciful treasure of this age, Your Divine Grace Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Guru Mahārāja.

Being the Victory Flag of Śrīla Prabhupāda, you have dedicated every moment of your life, every drop of blood, sweat and tears in his service. The list of your services are limitless, yet you just don't seem to stop working on them either. You're unstoppable! You truly are the ‘juggernaut of Lord Jagannātha’.

I pray that someday I may develop a drop of the devotion that you have to Śrīla Prabhupāda, dedicating my life to serving your lotus feet.

You have given shelter to countless glorious souls here. While I feel very insignificant in their shadows, I am deeply honored to serve amongst them. But the forces of Māyā are strong and I am an extremely fallen soul. I wage war against Māyā every day and really need your blessings to stay strong and push through this fight. Only by your mercy can I wield the sword of sincerity and fight against the illusory demon soldiers of Māyā.

Gurudeva, for your pleasure I've taken up monkhood, managing a small kitchen here and recently extended my assistance in editing work for one of your dear disciples. Please bless me so that I can always remain in the service of the devotees, work to the best of my capacity and eventually try to please you. For it is only through pleasing you that I may hope to earn the opportunity to please Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Seeking your blessings, Guru Mahārāja.

Your most lowest servant,

Rādhikānātha Govinda Dāsa,

ISKCON Whitefield, Bangalore.
