Vyāsa-pūjā 2024

Śrīpradā Dayāvatī devī dāsī (Sydney - Australia)

Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble respectful obeisances at your lotus feet.

All glories to you Guru Mahārāja! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!!!

Śrīla Gurudeva, on the occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjāthis year, I pray to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Gopīnātha, Gaura-Nitāi, Jagannātha Baladeva Subhadrā and Narasiṁhadeva to protect you and bless you with good health.

Another year passes, and your tireless service, leadership, and teachings continue to inspire us endlessly. Your exemplary completion of the Bhakti-śāstrī  and Bhakti Vaibhav degrees has motivated my husband, Rajeshvar Śrīnātha dāsa, and me to embark on our own Bhakti-śāstrī  course. We humbly seek your blessings to follow in your footsteps, complete the degree, and bring pride to your name.

We feel immensely fortunate to have been accepted as your disciples on December 31, 2023, through online initiation. Yearning to see you in person after receiving initiation, I visited the East of Kailash Temple in Delhi on February 18, 2024. It was the most auspicious moment of my life when you blessed me with your merciful glance, the Mahā garland, and the dust of your lotus feet. Witnessing you so closely overwhelmed me with tears of joy. I have come to realize the transformative power of the Guru's causeless mercy in the life of an unworthy disciple like myself.

In this material realm, I sometimes find myself entangled in dealings with devotees and non-devotees alike. However, your lectures continually remind us that this world is transient and fraught with suffering (duḥkālayam aśāśvatam). Recently, you emphasized in your lectures that “Kaler doṣa-nidhe rājan, that Kali-yuga is an ocean of defects. Nobody can say I never did any sin. This Kali-yuga is a very difficult place. asti hy eko mahān guṇaḥ, but there is one good quality. It is an ocean of faults, but one good quality. kīrtanād eva Kṛṣṇasya – chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa! One good quality. By chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, mukta-saṅgaḥ paraṁ vrajet – that one can achieve liberation and go back to the spiritual world.” Kindly bless us so that we can follow your instruction sincerely and do our chanting nicely.

Since I am foolish, lowborn, fallen and distressed, your Divine Grace, being the representative of Lord Nityānanda prabhu, Kindly shower your merciful glance upon me, my husband – Rajeśvara Śrīnātha dāsa, our son Devam, our daughter Avni, and myself, along with our extended families. I humbly beg for your causeless mercy for us so that we can all do our chanting nicely, stay steady in our sādhana, overcome our anarthas and help in the preaching movement.

Your spiritual Daughter,

Śrīpradā Dayavatī Devī Dāsī
