Vyāsa-pūjā 2024

Gaurasundara Kṛpāmoya dāsa (Budapest - Hungary)

My dear spiritual father, dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to the holy dust of your lotus feet!

The day of Vyāsa-pūjāis a day bathed in gratitude. Delving deep within my heart, the clarity emerges: my very existence, every facet of my life, has been sculpted by your guiding hand. There is not a single aspect untouched, unshaped by your wisdom, molded in harmony with your divine instructions. In moments of doubt, it is your teachings that whisper courage, your grace that lifts the veil of darkness, revealing the luminescence of the spiritual realm that lies just beyond our sight. Each day, under your guidance, I learn to navigate the complexities of this world with grace, viewing every challenge as an opportunity to deepen my faith and every joy as a moment to express gratitude. Your impact on me is like the moon's pull on the tide, invisible yet undeniable, gently guiding me toward spiritual shores.

Yet, amidst this ocean of gratitude, I find myself grappling with the limits of language and action, struggling to convey the depth of my reverence. Through the auspices of Bhaktivedanta College, I channel my efforts to propagate the sacred teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda, to weave his wisdom into the fabric of countless hearts. However, the path of administration, I fear, sometimes casts a shadow upon my spiritual voyage. Yet, witnessing the blossoming of students from neophytes to devout practitioners, their lives harmonized with the chant of the holy name, reaffirms my resolve. My sole desire remains — to please you through my endeavors.

The world over, regardless of place or circumstance, you inspire souls towards Kṛṣṇa consciousness. We, at the college, yearn for a droplet of that divine potency, for the breath of your inspiration, the touch of your blessings. With these, I trust, our efforts will not falter.

To beseech your blessings, I find myself unworthy, yet I implore not for myself but for the strength to serve. Therefore, with a straw between my teeth, I bow down before your lotus feet again and again and beg you to bless me so that I may have enough spiritual strength to continue my service. May I learn to mirror your patience, facing life's trials with a calm and steady heart. Grant me the humility to see myself as the servant of all. Above all, strengthen my dedication to Lord Caitanya's mission, so that I may tirelessly work for the welfare of all beings, following in the footsteps of your exemplary service. These qualities I seek are but reflections of your radiant spiritual character, and it is my deepest desire to walk this path under your guiding light, transforming aspiration into reality.

As I lay these words at your lotus feet, my heart swells with gratitude for the path you've illuminated before me. May the seeds of your teachings, sown deep within my soul, germinate into actions that honor your legacy and the divine love you embody. I entreat you to cast a merciful glance upon me, that my endeavors might bear fruit.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, it is in your exemplary footsteps, your boundless mercy, and your unfathomable compassion, that I find the beacon of hope for my journey. Absent these, I am but a wayfarer lost amidst the tempest of existence. I pray for the strength to embody the depth of your teachings, for each word you've imparted to take root in the fertile soil of my heart, blossoming into actions that mirror your boundless compassion and devotion.

Though I stand unworthy, my heart harbors the prayer that someday, you might embrace me as
Your eternal servant,
Gaurasundara Kṛpāmaya Dāsa (dīkśā)
