Deepak Rohitkumar Joshi (Gaurāṅga Deśa - Middle East)

Hare Kṛṣṇa Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at your divine lotus feet

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda

All glories unto your Divine Grace

All glories to your auspicious appearance day

On this very auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, I pray to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava and Śrī Narasiṁhadev for your protection, good health, and well-being.

Dear Gurudeva, I am always looking up to you in amazement and wonder as to how you manage to overcome all the challenges and adversities coming your way in the service of Guru and Kṛṣṇa. You are truly an embodiment of determination, courage, and positivity in the face of all odds which is extremely inspiring and motivating for all.

Last year in June, I and my family visited the USA for the first time without any prior planning but with your causeless mercy, we were truly fortunate to commence our tour by getting your darśana and blessings at Brooklyn Temple. We also had the wonderful opportunity to participate and associate in the ecstatic Rath Yātrā celebrations in New York and Farmington Hills. Subsequently, we visited New Vṛndāvana, where we engaged in joyful kīrtana, and dancing led by His Holiness Mahavishnu Swami Mahārāja. I was also blessed with an opportunity to serve and assist in the kitchen for preparations of prasāda. None of these visits and activities were preplanned but it was only through your abundant mercy and blessings that our material trip was transformed into a very blissful and spiritually enriching experience.

A couple of months back, our family was in complete disarray as my wife (your disciple Her Grace Rati Rupini Jāhnava Devī Dāsī) was diagnosed with Cancer. Struggling to comprehend and absorb this new reality, we drew inspiration, strength, and courage by reflecting upon how you manage your day-to-day activities despite all the hardships the gravity and magnitude of which is incomprehensible for anyone. We are also extremely fortunate to receive abundant comfort and support from your compassion and mercy through your wonderful disciples and all vaiṣṇavas at our Gaurāṅgadesh Yātrā. I fervently pray at your lotus feet to continue showering your mercy and blessings for my wife’s good health and wellbeing for her to continue her services to you.

My son, Param, is in his final year of graduation in the USA, aspiring for His Holiness Rādhānath Swami Mahārāja. Although he lacks local devotee association, he manages to stay connected with devotees in nearby cities. My daughter, your disciple Her Grace Kṛṣṇamohini Gopī Devī Dāsī, graduated last year and is now working for a university in Dubai. She plans to pursue her Master's degree. I seek your blessings for both my children's academic and spiritual progress.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, I feel a little lost in managing and navigating through various personal family situations and circumstances that have emerged in recent times. By your mercy, I am managing to perform daily 16 rounds of chanting and attend weekly Bhagavad-gītā Class, but so far, I have not done anything significant for further spiritual advancement. I am grateful to you for keeping me engaged in devotional Service for which I am indebted to you. I plead at your lotus feet to forgive my unlimited offences and remove all the hurdles.

On this most auspicious day of your divine appearance, I express my sincere recommitment, offering profound love, utmost gratitude, and respectful obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace!!

Your insignificant servant,

Deepak Joshi (aspiring)
