Param Pujya Gurudeva,

Please accept my respectful obeisances (daṇḍavat pranam).

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to you on the auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā.

Guru Mahārāja, though I am not qualified to glorify you, by your mercy and the mercy of the vaiṣṇavas I will try to express my gratitude to you. With your blessings, I hope I will be able to glorify you in my limited capacity.

By your mercy and the mercy of devotees, I have been practicing Kṛṣṇa consciousness along with my family for the past fourteen years under the guidance of His Grace Caitanya Avatari Prabhu and Her Grace Rasamayi mātājī at ISKCON New Rajapur Jagannātha Dhāma, Bangalore (NRJD).

Gurudeva you are so merciful that you have given shelter even to a very sinful person like me. By your mercy and that of the Vaiṣṇavas, I am trying to perform some devotional service at ISKCON – NRJD, Bangalore. However, I am still not able to render these services with full devotion. Due to this, sometimes I also commit vaiṣṇava aparādhas, unknowingly. When I observe you, I find that you are executing the instructions of your spiritual master, Śrīla Prabhupāda, with full devotion and dedication. Drawing inspiration from your dedication, it is my heartfelt desire to also develop at least a fraction of the sincerity and devotion that you have towards Śrīla Prabhupāda and our ācāryas.

This year, we had the good fortune of serving you at your own residence at ISKCON - NRJD. All the members of our community were very excited to have your association during this time and be of some minuscule service to you. I would also like to share with you that not only the devotees but even the kadamba trees in the vicinity of our temple were blessed by your august presence. The kadamba trees which had not flowered since your previous visit (during the opening of our Preaching center), suddenly burst out with flowers as the day of your arrival approached. This helped us realize how your mere presence and even the anticipation of your arrival has such a deep impact on all the living entities in the surrounding areas. We look forward to serving you on more occasions in the near future, at your home at ISKCON - NRJD.

By your causeless mercy, I am also trying to preach to some members of the Rajasthani community in Bangalore and Rajasthan since 2018. While we have had some initial success in attracting many members of the community to visit our Preaching centre regularly, we are still unable to help them become serious in taking up devotional service and make commitments in this direction. We seek your guidance and blessings in this matter.

I also seek your blessings to improve my sādhana, attitude and dedication to serve the instructions of my sīkṣā gurus at all times.

You have expressed your desire to see Bangalore as the first fully Kṛṣṇa conscious city in India. I desire to be a menial servant in assisting His Grace Caitanya Avatari Prabhu and Her Grace Rasamayi mātājī in making this a reality, at the earliest.

As per your instructions to all your disciples, my wife and I are pursuing the Bhakti Sastri course, to study and understand Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books in more detail.

I seek your blessings for my mother (Gītā Devī), my wife (Sumukhi Nandini devī dāsī) and my children (Kunjeśvarī, Karunāmṛta and Doyal Nitāi) and myself, so that all of us can continue to be engaged in serving Śrīla Prabhupāda and your lotus feet and make advancement in our spiritual lives under the guidance of His Grace Caitanya Avatari Prabhu and Her Grace Rasamayi mātājī.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you for everything in my life.

Your useless servants,

Oṁ Kṛṣṇa dāsa,

Sumukhī Nandinī devī dāsī
