Dear Guru Mahārāja,

On this Joyous occasion of your 69th Vyāsa-pūjā let me take this opportunity to glorify you. My glorification falls short of words, and the pen runs dry to glorify such a magnanimous personality like you.

It is indeed my good fortune to have such a glorious spiritual father. Over the years that I have interacted with you, served or cooked for you, I have only felt myself feel smaller and smaller in your presence. You have patiently and kindly corrected me in the many blunders I have committed in my service to you. I was indeed very fortunate to have been able to serve you on the many occasions that you visited Dāmodara-deśa and Gaurāṅga-deśa.

Śrīla Prabhupāda found a great stalwart in you to conduct this spiritual mission he had undertaken. You have taken his mission to heart and are toiling with so much effort to fulfill Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission. We are all eagerly awaiting the opening of the TOVP in Śrīdhāma Māyāpur which will be a feather in the cap of your glorious journey of Kṛṣṇa Consciousness.

Your health is of great concern to us and we wish that you would not push yourself to the limit. In spite of your recent ill health, you prove to me time and again that you are on a pure spiritual platform and the body is just material and you are above the three modes and in pure śuddha-sattva platform.

Much of the suffering that you are enduring is caused by disciples who are not doing their chanting or their sādhana properly. Hence it is an onus on all your disciples that they follow standards and not increase your pain and suffering. I pray to Lord Caitanya who is so dear to your heart to remove these obstacles and help you in alleviating your pain and suffering.

It is said that the spiritual master is more merciful on his Vyāsa-pūjā day. On this joyous day of your Vyāsa-pūjā I beg you to bestow your mercy upon me so that I can progress in my Kṛṣṇa Consciousness and not fail you or let you down as a disciple by being caught by Māyādevī's snare.

I pray to Lord Caitanya and the Pañca-tattva Deities, Lord Rādhā Mādhava and the Aṣṭa-sakhīs, Lord Narasiṁhadeva and Śrīla Prabhupāda to protect you and keep you in good health.

Your Fallen Servant,

Citra Mālinī Devī Dāsī
