Vyāsa-pūjā 2024

Mahīpāla Govinda dāsa (Coimbatore - India)

My dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at the dust of the lotus feet of Your Divine Grace. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to Guru and Gaurāṅga.

On the glorious occasion of the 75th Vyāsa-pūjā of Gurudeva, I want to recollect with gratitude the immense causeless mercy coming into my life. I am grateful for the mercy that is enabling me to chant the holy name, associate with devotees and perform sevā. I am very grateful for the many opportunities of hearing Kṛṣṇa-kathā which Gurudeva is extending despite all limitations. I’m grateful for keeping me away from māyā by protecting my mind and senses from wayward thoughts and actions. I am grateful for the shelter and protection that is enabling me to perform devotional service nicely. If not for the shelter of Gurudeva this fallen soul would have remained in māyā kicked about by the reactions of my karma.

In protecting fallen souls such as me, Ācāryadeva has chosen many situations contrary to own comfort and solace risking Gurudeva’s health and wellbeing. In the practice of my devotional service your divine grace have worked overtime to remove all obstacles in my path making it joyous and longstanding. I am grateful to Gurudeva for all the good things happening in my life and my continued attraction to the lotus feet of guru and Kṛṣṇa.

On this glorious occasion of Guru Mahārāja’s 75th Vyāsa-pūjā my ardent prayers to Lord Narasiṁhadeva, Jagannātha Balabhadra and Subhadrā Mayī, The Pañca-tattva and Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava and Śrīla Prabhupāda that Gurudeva be always in our midst in good health so that millions such fallen souls as me could benefit and the world would always remain a better place. I beg on this occasion for continued unabated attraction to service to Gurudeva, Śrīla Prabhupāda and Kṛṣṇa. I also beg forgiveness for the offences in my devotional service. Kindly be merciful and enable me to practice devotional service more carefully, sincerely, and enthusiastically is my humble submission at Gurudeva’s lotus feet.

Please accept my respectful obeisances at the dust of the lotus feet of Your Divine Grace.

Servant of Your Divine Grace,
