as mentioned in the Guru astaka , The spiritual master receives benediction from the ocean of mercy. Just as a cloud pours water on a forest fire to extinguish it, so the spiritual master delivers the materially afflicted world by extinguishing the blazing fire of material existence. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master, an ocean of auspicious qualities.

Gurudeva, You are truly doing this and guiding many of us Your teachings are helping us embrace Krishna consciousness and protecting us like a caring mother. Despite my shortcomings, you have given me Diksha and continue to guide and shield me. In this tough material world full of negative influences, your mercy has been my strength, providing a powerful initiation that has changed my life for the better. I am grateful for your compassion and support. But I don’t have any good things in my heart to follow you. I keep on failing, and my mind is full of material desires.

Whenever I tune in to your Caitanya Leela classes, I am captivated by your deep enthusiasm to share the glories of Mahaprabhu and his divine pastimes. Your unwavering passion for relishing the mellows of these pastimes vibrates in every word. Through your incredible lectures, your mercy not only imparts knowledge but also fills my heart with joy and pleasure. It's a rare quality to maintain the flow of discourse despite any interruptions, and you, an ocean of mercy, gracefully navigate through continues bad coughs, ensuring that we can continue to Savor the nectar of Caitanya Mahaprabhu's pastimes. Your unique ability to do this sets you apart. you are truly matchless in this regard.and I am grateful for the enriching experience you provide.

By your boundless mercy, this year, I had the profound privilege of visiting Mayapur with my husband and children. Although my husband has always been supportive of my Krishna-conscious journey, he has not actively immersed himself in the practices. However, last year, under the influence of my Siksha gurus, Anandamaya Gopinath Das and Sankirtan Narotam Das, he not only attended Bhagavatam classes but also engaged in various services. Your kindness didn't cease there. you orchestrated a journey to the holy land of Mayapur and guided us through the enlightening Navadwipa Parikrama for nine days. And, I got the mercy to take personal darshan from you.

The entire arrangement, arranged by Anandamaya Gopinath Das, Sriguru Baktidevi Dasi, and Mahavaraha Prabhu, was evidence of their dedication. The moment you entered the hall, it felt like the rising sun in the morning, bringing warmth and illumination. You extended your heartfelt wishes to both my daughter and me, who were celebrating our birthdays together. I cherished the opportunity to witness your beautiful eye-to-eye contact, although I found myself speechless for the third time I got a chance to speak. Foolishly, I failed at what I had intended to say, realizing once again that in the presence of a spiritual master, we are all fools.

During my online initiation in front of Sri Radha Gopinath, I falsely claimed that my husband aspired to be your disciple, even though he wasn't actively interested in Krishna consciousness at that time. Later, I confessed my dishonesty to Siksha Guru Sriguru Bakti Devi Dasi, who assured me that in the presence of the spiritual master and the Lord, nothing goes awry. Back then, I struggled to trust those words, but witnessing the miraculous transformation in my husband, who now chants with the beads offered to Lord Narasimha Dev in the Mayapur temple, I stand amazed. Truly, the saying holds: 'lava-mātra sādhu-saṅge sarva-siddhi haya'—even a moment's association with a pure devotee can lead to all-encompassing success. This magic has undeniably happened to me.

Since my separation from the holy dham and your association, I have noticed a failure in the quality of my sadhana. I struggle to complete my rounds in the morning and am inconsistent in my commitment to listening and reading Srila Prabhupad’s books. An attentive hearing has become challenging for me, hindering my ability to relish the nectar of spiritual wisdom. Currently, my children, Deaisu and Suhan, are chanting 3 and 1 round respectively. Most nights, I engage in reading Bhagavatam stories and Slokas for them. I seek your blessings for Deaisu and Suhan to remain in Krishna consciousness and live in accordance with your guidance. I desire to involve my husband, Surendrakumar, and our children more actively in devotional service. I humbly request your shower of mercy upon us.

On this auspicious day, I earnestly seek your guidance and blessings to help me regain focus on my sadhana, to become a devoted listener and follower of Srila Prabhupad’s teachings once again, and to follow your exemplary footsteps. May your mercy illuminate my path and empower me to fulfil my roles as a mother, wife, and daughter, aligning them with the principles of Krishna consciousness. With gratitude and humility, I request your divine assistance in realigning my spiritual compass and dedicating myself wholeheartedly to the path of devotional service.

Once again Wishing you a very Happy Krishna-conscious birthday to you Gurudeva!

Your  Most fallen daughter,

Sukirti Harini Devi Dasi.
