Hare Kṛṣṇa Guru Mahārāja. Please accept my respectful obeisance.
All glories to you and all glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Guru Mahārāja, I am a very fallen soul and not at all qualified to write about your glories and it is only because of your causeless mercy that I had got this opportunity to write a few words on this glorious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā. I offer my respectful obeisance again and again at Your Lotus Feet.
My prayers to Lord Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava, Narasiṁha Deva, and Gaura Nitāi to always bless you with good health, long life and provide you with complete protection.
Guru Mahārāja, you are always my inspiration to take up this path of devotional service to Lord Kṛṣṇa. I am really amazed at your enthusiasm and zeal in preaching Kṛṣṇa consciousness far and wide across the world. Though you were twice affected by Covid you had still continued to take online classes, attended meetings etc. to spread this glorious mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda. You had never compromised on your preaching even during the days of your ill health. I heard that even while you were in the hospital for treatment, you had asked the therapist and the medical staffs to chant the Holy names of Lord Kṛṣṇa. This shows that you take each and every opportunity to preach and spread Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Holy name everywhere.
I am really an unworthy and a fallen soul and It is only because of your causeless Mercy that I had become an aspiring disciple of Your good self. I seek your mercy and blessings so that I can improve the quality of my chanting and continue to progress in reading Śrīla Prabhupāda books. Whatever insignificant, little service I get to do in the yātrā, is all because of your blessings and mercy on me. Guru Mahārāja, I pray and beg for your mercy to please accept and take me under the shelter of your Lotus Feet. I am still in the process of preparation to take Shelter from You Guru Mahārāja. Please bless me so that I can improve my spiritual sadhanas and also be in good health. I beg you to forgive me for all my offences. I also seek your blessings for the spiritual well-being of my husband Shankar and my son Karthick.
All Glories to you Guru Mahārāja.
Your humble servant,
Rathika Shankar (aspiring disciple)
