Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble and respectful obeisance at your lotus feet.
All glories to Guru and Gaurāṅga!!!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!!!
Śrīla Gurudeva, on this auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, I pray to Gaurāṅga to bless you with good health.
Gurudeva, I am really unworthy and incapable to glorify you, but I have attempted to glorify you. I completely understand that whatever I have written is full of faults but I beg you to accept this homage from your useless son.
Guru Mahārāja, you have shown me how the material difficulties cannot stop devotional activities and can continue Bhakti in all possible ways. You are a live example of how one should take and follow the spiritual master’s instruction very seriously. I am wonderstruck how it is possible for you to consistently focus on spreading the Kṛṣṇa conscious movement and giving sukruti to the world. I see that you do 20 rounds daily (even with the physical challenges), giving classes every day, attending meetings, heading GBC, administering and providing inputs for TOVP and many more that I even don’t know. I just cannot conceive of this. By looking at you, I am just like a dust particle who would like to stick onto your lotus feet to be with you and serve you eternally.
Gurudeva, we have been so fortunate to have you at our home every weekend via live sessions and we enjoy the day by preparing bhoga for you. I just take this opportunity to thank you for showering your mercy upon me and my wife (Kavipriya Vrajesvari Devī Dāsī) by giving Harinaam initiation last year (27-Mar-2021). As per my oath during my initiation, I’m currently chanting 16 rounds daily and following four rules and regulations strictly. I do struggle at times to complete my 16 rounds in the morning, so I really plead with you to show mercy on me to do the chanting better.
I am currently involved in one of the video project service with my Sīkṣā Guru (His Grace Śrīguru Bhakti Devī Dāsī) that I’m struggling to complete. I seek your blessings to get that completed for your pleasure. Without your mercy, I will be unable to continue further, Gurudeva.
I take this opportunity on this auspicious occasion to thank my Sīkṣā Gurus (His Grace Anandamaya Gopīnātha Das, His Grace Saṅkīrtana Narotama Dāsa and His Grace Śrīguru Bhakti Devī Dāsī) who are guiding us in all possible ways and more importantly supporting you in spreading the Kṛṣṇa conscious movement.
I beg at your lotus feet to give me the intellect to help you in fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission and fulfil my vows. I am also seeking your blessings to improve and grow devotionally, so that my wife, my daughters (Joshika and Tanishkha) and I can serve you and Gaurāṅga eternally.
Your most fallen son,
Santusta Vrajesa Das
