Dear beloved Gurudeva, I am like an insignificant glow worm trying to glorify the Sun. Nevertheless, I try to glorify you for my own purification. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have a Gurudeva like you.
I don't know what a sinner like me has done to have showers of mercy and blessings.
In one of your recent messages you spoke about having a heart to heart connection with the Guru. On many occasions I have felt so close to you and felt an overwhelming sense of protection with you being the captain of my ship of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
When we were in Māyāpur and my son Shreyas had fractured his arm, he was playing with the other boys. They were making paper boats and racing their boats in the small ponds. Shreyas was feeling disappointed that his boat was losing. Suddenly from nowhere there was your Sannyāsa Daṇḍa pushing his boat gently and powerfully making his boat win. Shreyas saw you had swatted on the ground, pushing his boat ahead with your Sannyāsa Daṇḍa. The little boy felt so happy. You are so kind and considerate dear Gurudeva.
His Grace Amogha Līlā prabhu once asked you how many times we must read the Caitanya Caritāmṛta. You jokingly said, "108 times". Then he asked you if you had read it 108 times, for which you replied, "long back".
You are certainly an associate of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu. I don't know how I, a Kali yuga sinner could have got so much mercy from you.
When I feel disappointed and frustrated with many experiences, I feel enlivened seeing you.
You reassure me through your instructions or messages. You are the only one who can bestow unconditional love upon fallen conditioned souls like myself dear beloved Gurudeva.
You are so loving, gentle, energetic, enthusiastic, encouraging, courageous, benevolent, jovial, humorous, surrendered, caring, extremely intelligent, effulgent, dedicated, powerful, pure, so clean hearted, so learned, so cultured, you have taken on the curse from Śrīla Prabhupāda to not remain in one place for long, so much so that, your name is there in the Guinness book of world records. How can a fallen soul like me ever fathom all your most beautiful qualities which attract Śrīla Prabhupāda?
On this most auspicious day, I would like to beg you to shower your blessings upon me to become more introspective and correct my thoughts, my feelings, my vision, my consciousness and become deeply Kṛṣṇa conscious by depending upon your mercy.
I pray to Lord Narasiṁhadeva to shower His unlimited blessings upon you for your long life and the power to fulfill your commitments to your beloved Gurudeva Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Your mercy case
