My dear spiritual father,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances to the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Whenever I think of tolerance, your divine grace comes to my mind.
Rūpa Gosvāmī describes in the first verse of Upadeśāmṛta how a sober person who is able to tolerate different urges from the mind, speech and body, is qualified to make disciples around the world. That’s your position.
Lord Kṛṣṇa in Bg 2.14 tells us that we must learn to tolerate the different dualities of this world, such us heat and cold, happiness and distress.
Mahāprabhu tells us to be as tolerant as a tree.
In order to keep and nourish relationships, we need to tolerate so much. That’s the way to avoid offenses.
At this point, I’m begging from you forgiveness for my offenses, for which cannot find other explanation but intolerance from my side. Despite of your divine grace setting such a wonderful example of tolerance, still cannot follow. Please forgive my ignorance. Please bless me.
Regarding your Facebook page in Portuguese, it’s finally up to date with your daily classes, lately question-and-answers sessions. Anandinī Rādhārāṇī devī dāsī is doing the translation work.
Eternally grateful for your trust, dear Gurudeva.
Your aspiring student,
