Vyāsa-pūjā 2024

Rishav Das (Durgapur - India)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my repeated humble and respectful obeisances unto the dust of your divine lotus feet.

It is my great fortune that I have this opportunity to glorify you, although I am not qualified to speak about your limitless glories.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

All glories to Your Divine Grace!

Wishing you the most blessed 75th Vyāsa-pūjā Celebration of your Divine Grace.

Guru Mahārāja, currently, I am pursuing my Engineering. While staying in the association of devotees in Durgapur under the guidance of Nitāi Candra Nimāi Prabhu, I am reading Śrīla Prabhupāda's books (B.G. 7th chapter, Prabhupāda: Messenger of The Supreme Lord), listening to Prabhupāda, sometimes your nectarian lectures, and to His Grace Radheshyam Prabhu. Occasionally, by the mercy of His Grace Istadeva Gopal Prabhu and His Grace Nitāi Chandra Nimāi Prabhu, I go out to distribute Śrīla Prabhupāda's books and to invite college students for weekly programs, but I have been unable to fully surrender to them.

I must admit that I have not endeavored enough to hear from you or about you, and I have not put sufficient effort into chanting and reading, which has led me to fail in understanding the mood of Śrīla Prabhupāda and the ācāryas. I find myself committing the same mistakes repeatedly, even in the association of such exalted Vaiṣṇavas.

Guru Mahārāja, as mercy is always causeless, I must admit that since I've been introduced to and have been in this wonderful association, and whatever little service I am able to do, it is all due to the mercy of the Vaiṣṇavas. However, I don't feel enough gratitude towards them. Instead, I often find faults in them and try to escape from services and their association. I am a constant offender at the lotus feet of all the Vaiṣṇavas and also the Holy name.

I beg for your mercy on this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjāso that I can, to some degree, understand your unlimited glories and thus increase my appreciation, dedication, and gratefulness towards you.

Your most insignificant servant,

Rishav dāsa(Aspiring disciple)
