Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Bhagavān Bālājī Dāsa (Gaurāṅga Deśa - Middle East)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Over the past year, I have been engaged in both preaching and personal sādhana, striving to improve my service and spiritual practice. I have been learning mṛdaṅga and harmonium to enhance my ability to contribute to kīrtana and preaching efforts. Additionally, I am currently enrolled in the Bhakti-vaibhava course, where we have completed 12 units so far, and the progress is going well.

In terms of Bhagavad-gītā study, after completing all 18 chapters with my Bhakti-vṛkṣa group, I have now started Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam with the same members. Additionally, I am leading another Bhakti-vṛkṣa group in English, where we are currently studying the third chapter of the Bhagavad-gītā, and one more group in Tamil, where we have reached the tenth chapter. These engagements allow me to repeatedly study the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, deepening my spiritual knowledge and attachment to Kṛṣṇa.

I am also serving in the Program Committee of Gaṅgādhareśa Yātrā, where I help organize weekly programs and festivals. Currently, we are preparing for the 16th Ancient India Children’s Festival on March 30 in Dubai. This year, 125 students are participating, performing various dramas and dances based on para-dharma as the theme. We expect this event to attract more parents and residents, giving them an opportunity to learn about and take up Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

On the personal front, my children are also engaging in Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the best of their ability. My daughter, after moving to the Netherlands, has realized the importance of spiritual life after experiencing the local conditions. She is now making efforts to reconnect with Kṛṣṇa consciousness. My son, although not practicing regularly, is participating in ārati programs by playing mṛdaṅga, which he is naturally inclined toward.

Please bless me, Guru Mahārāja, so that I can continue to serve in a way that pleases you and contribute to your mission of spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness to those who are unaware of the real purpose of life.

Your humble servant,
Bhagavān Bālajī Dāsa
