My dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, and all glories to you.

A material father is not worthy if he doesn't guide his son on the path of self-realization and help fulfill the goal of life, as stated in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 5.5.18.

I am very fortunate to have you as my eternal spiritual father, who will deliver me from the path of repeated birth and death. Please give me strength to honestly follow your instructions and deeply engage in pure devotional service.

There is no limit to your spiritual qualities; your glories are unlimited and transcendental.

You are very simple and easily approachable—even to an unworthy disciple like me. You are eternally liberated and have descended to this material world to guide and liberate all the conditioned souls, leading them back home, back to Godhead.

It is my responsibility to obediently follow your footsteps and instructions—to fully utilize the great opportunity you have given this fallen soul in this lifetime.

Even in the midst of your busy schedules, you personally take care of your disciples—replying to their emails on time, as you did for me, showering your unlimited blessings on my 60th birth anniversary this year.

In addition to your blessings, you even asked me about the details of my current devotional service and my spiritual retirement plan. There is truly no end to your commitment to devotee care.

Guru Mahārāja, you are a perfect person, an ideal person, a pure devotee of Lord Kṛṣṇa, and the topmost jewel in Śrīla Prabhupāda's mission.

By your mercy, I have distributed 19 full sets of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam this year on the occasion of Bhadra Pūrṇimā, with the help of the yātrā devotees.

Please forgive me for all my offenses and bless me.

Bhagavān Govinda Dāsa
