My dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories unto your divine lotus feet.
On this most auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, I offer my respectful obeisances at the dust of your saṅkīrtana lotus feet.
Śrīla Prabhupāda once said that you are an eternal associate of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu—you will preach in Bengali and develop Śrīdhāma Māyāpur. Guru Mahārāja, I am very fortunate that you have accepted me as your disciple here in Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma on the 29th of December, 2024.
Unparalleled Dedication and Service
Guru Mahārāja, you are a beacon of selfless service and divine inspiration. Despite innumerable challenges, you have tirelessly preached the glories of the holy name, built vibrant spiritual communities, and guided countless devotees along the path of bhakti. Your unwavering commitment to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission is a testament to your deep faith and full surrender.
Spreading the Mission of Lord Caitanya
You have played a vital role in expanding the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement across the globe. Through your dynamic leadership and empowered preaching, thousands of devotees have found shelter at Śrīla Prabhupāda’s lotus feet. Your extraordinary contributions to the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP), congregational development, and book distribution have significantly fortified ISKCON’s foundation.
This is my first Vyāsa-pūjā offering to you, Guru Mahārāja.
Last year, by your causeless mercy, you accepted this fallen soul as your disciple by bestowing first initiation upon me and giving me the spiritual name Jagannātha Jayanta Dāsa. I am not worthy of such mercy, but by the blessings of Nityānanda Prabhu, Śrīla Prabhupāda, and yourself, you have still accepted me.
Struggling, Yet Aspiring to Serve
Guru Mahārāja, I admit that I am falling behind in following your instructions and performing my devotional service sincerely. I cannot fulfill your instructions completely, just as you were so perfectly dedicated to the instructions of Śrīla Prabhupāda.
When I first met you in Bangalore, at Śrī Narasiṁha Giridhārī Mandira, you instructed the devotees there to make Bangalore the first Kṛṣṇa conscious city in the world. I do not know how much I will be able to contribute, but I pray for your blessings so I may at least begin that mission.

ār nā koriho mane āśā
śrī-guru-caraṇe rati, ei se uttama-gati
je prasāde pūre sarva āśā
I seek your merciful blessings, Gurudeva. Please bless this dull-headed, fallen soul so I may at least try to fulfill your instructions and practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness more sincerely, as you have instructed us.
I am sure I cannot perfectly fulfill your instructions as you did with Śrīla Prabhupāda’s orders, but I pray that even a dust particle from your lotus feet may give me the strength to carry out some part of your instructions, by your mercy.
I also pray at the lotus feet of Śrīla Prabhupāda, Śrī Lakṣmī-Narasiṁhadeva, Gandharvikā-Giridhārī, and Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu for your health and strength, so you may continue fulfilling the mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Seeking Mercy and Forgiveness
I beg you for your mercy, Guru Mahārāja, and humbly ask for forgiveness if I have committed any Vaiṣṇava-aparādha, guru-aparādha, or any offense in the above Vyāsa-pūjā offering.
Your humble servant,
Jagannātha Jayanta Dāsa
(Śrī Narasiṁha Giridhārī Mandira, Bangalore)
