Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
On this most auspicious day of your appearance, I offer my heartfelt gratitude to you.
In this age of darkness, where I find no light, I see that I, too, am part of this darkness. Yet you came, Gurudeva, like the moon shining with the mercy of Śrīla Prabhupāda. You illuminated my path, lifting me from obscurity. I was like dull asphalt—unseen and lifeless—but by your grace, I have become visible. When others see me, they may think I am a good devotee, but they do not realize that whatever light I reflect is only the glow of your mercy.
I pray that you never leave me, even though I am unworthy of your kindness. Still, I need you—for without your mercy, I have no direction; without you, I am lost. My only hope is to one day become useful in your service, assisting in Śrīla Prabhupāda’s glorious mission.
Your servant always,
Ārādhya Nitāi Rāma Dāsa
