Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Mohit Bajpai (New Delhi - Dwarka - India)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Today, I wish to offer a droplet of gratitude at your lotus feet for the honor of being accepted as your disciple in the future.

You are the living emblem of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s prophecy:

“My disciples will one day fill the world with temples.”

With every stride across continents, every discourse dripping with nectar, and every heart you’ve awakened to devotional service—you came here just to bestow your immense mercy upon us by giving us gaura-prema...
“Gaurāṅga... Gaurāṅga!”

Once, a devotee—drowning in doubt—asked, “Mahārāja, how can I love Kṛṣṇa when I can’t even see Him?”
You smiled, eyes brimming with compassion, and replied:

“Do you see the sun? No—but you feel its warmth.
Serve the sādhu, chant the holy name, and soon you’ll weep to realize He’s been embracing you all along.”

You instructed us through your lectures: rise before dawn for maṅgala-ārati, forgive those who wrong us, and see every soul as Prabhupāda’s lost child.
When the world scoffed at “Hare Kṛṣṇa,” you marched with mṛdaṅga in hand, turning streets into sanctuaries.
You said:

“They laugh today, but one day, their hearts will sing with us.”

During Śrīla Prabhupāda’s lectures, you would ask such insightful questions that warmed his heart.
I humbly pray that you bless me, so that I too may be inspired to ask good questions after lectures—questions that uplift the group as a whole.
At present, I’m not even able to form a good question, yet I pray to be empowered to do so for your pleasure.

May we never forget the sight of you prostrating before Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mūrti, tears staining the floor, as you whispered:

“I am nothing without him.”

In that moment, you taught us everything: the guru is not a king, but a servant’s servant, a bridge to the divine.
Your love and faith for Śrīla Prabhupāda are an unending source of inspiration for me—just like how you bring a rose to Prabhupāda for his long life.

As I offer this Vyāsa-pūjā, I pray at your lotus feet:
Please bless me with your benediction, so that I may never leave the shelter of the holy name, and that I may one day offer you the only gift truly worth giving—a life fully surrendered in the service of Śrī Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga.

Your ineligible servant,
Mohit Bajpai
