Our beloved Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept our most respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to you on this auspicious day of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā.
You continue to inspire us day after day, month after month, and year after year by your unwavering and resolute determination in devotional service and your commitment to fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda's mission.
While the saying goes, "Health is wealth," for you, Guru Mahārāja, "Devotees are wealth." You are accepting all bodily pain and discomfort for the sake of fallen souls like us, voluntarily extending your stay in this saṁsāra just to deliver more conditioned souls. What better example do we need to preach about compassion!
I have personally noticed several times that in spite of your health not permitting, you force yourself to take Caitanya-śikṣāmṛta class. We are truly bewildered by your immense love for Śrīla Prabhupāda. We beg at your divine lotus feet to receive just a tinge of that love, enthusiasm, and commitment so we may serve you in carrying out your mission.
The task I have taken of preaching to temple walk-in devotees (in English and Tamil), and encouraging them to take up the DYS course, continues every Sunday at the temple. Further, Matajī and I are focusing on preaching to children at a Viṣṇu temple (Śrīnivāsa Kalyāṇa Perumāl) using various ISKCON books for children. We've started using a projector to make the experience more lively—showing stories in PowerPoint, videos from IDT, YouTube, kīrtanas, and Śrīla Prabhupāda's videos. We feel the children are able to relate and connect better in this way.
We sincerely seek your mercy so that we may be able to meditate on your mission and expand the preaching widely to your satisfaction. We assure you that we shall put in our full endeavor in serving you.
We pray to Pañca-tattva, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava, and Lord Narahari for your good health and to bless us with your divine association for many more years to come.
