Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Madhu Gaura Dāsa ( - Canada)

Hare Kṛṣṇa

Dear Śrī Śrīmad Jayapatākā Swāmī Gurudeva Mahārāja,

Respected Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to you on this auspicious 76th Śrī Vyāsa-pūjā Mahotsava of your divine appearance day.

You have been so merciful to all of us. You have taught us how to chant the holy name of Lord Kṛṣṇa, how to follow the regulative principles, how to serve the Deity and arcana-vigraha, and how to sing the most notable prayers.

You have been empowered by Lord Caitanya and Śrīla Prabhupāda to spread the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement all over the world.

You came to the Kingdom of Bahrain (Middle East) and gave it the name Balarāma Deśa, and it has become a pavitra-dhāma. You came as a savior for all fallen souls like us and, out of your causeless mercy, accepted me as your disciple—even though I was not qualified. Yet you have shown confidence in me that I can be part of your mission to propagate the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement.

You are so merciful that whenever you have visited us, you have given us the chance to serve you and granted us your personal association—
which is my lifelong and eternal treasure. I felt at that time that your association is like an ocean of spiritual bliss and should never end. Let it be eternal.

We are so fortunate to have learned from you how to associate with and cooperate with devotees and how to serve them. It is because of you that we have understood the difference between material enjoyment and spiritual bliss. Your mercy is unlimited.

By your own example, you have taught us how to serve our spiritual master (Guru Mahārāja) unconditionally. You have been given the responsibility of developing Māyāpur-dhāma and the TOVP, and you have successfully made this into a pavitra-dhāma of the universe in the service of Śrīla Prabhupāda, taking on immense austerities and pain—only to please Lord Kṛṣṇa.

I beg you to bestow upon me your profound mercy, blessings, intelligence, capacity, and strength so I may carry out your orders and become an instrument in fulfilling the mission of spreading and propagating the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement.

Please forgive and pardon my offenses. Bless me so that I may eternally remain under the shelter of your lotus feet. Hare Kṛṣṇa

Your humble servant,
Madhu Gaur Dāsa
